Ibanez AF75TDG Artcore Electric Guitar Customer Review
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Sound:
The sound out of this guitar is great. The strings are pretty good, but should be replaced soon. I am enjoying practicing with this guitar as an acoustic because the sound is clean. The humbuckers aren't the best, but it's better than most. It's a little muddy amped up. Don't run this guitar on distortion unless you want massive hum.
Feature:
The tremolo is pretty good, and the guitar keeps in tune despite hours of playing. There is only a problem with one string that gets out of tune, but I have yet to get this guitar set up yet. The materials are awesome. It can tolerate getting hit, but I don't recommend using this guitar as a metal axe, slamming it into everything.
Ease of Use:
The action is pretty good.
Quality:
There were only minor paint issues with the neck and binding. It's a good value for the price. It's no Gretsch, but it doesn't pretend to be. It's my only guitar at the moment, so I plan on getting another guitar as a backup. The neck is smooth as silk.
Manufacturer Support:
N/A.
Value:
Overall a good value for the price. I got a case with mine for only some dollars more.
The Wow Factor:
The sex appeal of this guitar is tremendous. She has the smoothest and mellowest sound. She just needs a good amp to back her up. With a little change of the strings, a good setup, and a good amp, she would be the happiest angel.
