"Nce guitar, shame about the reliability"

Feature:
My guitar came with a whammy bar, however using it did put the guitar of tune, and later the whammy bar popped the bridge out of the guitar.

Quality:
I had this guitar for 2 and a half years before it had it's first major problem(the bridge popped out), but unfortunately the problem was not easily fixed and i ended up having to buy another guitar.However,the paint quality is good and the guitar body itself felt sturdy and it survived numerous bangs and trips in car boots.

Value:
Theres at least 2 years worth in this guitar and probably much more if you treat it well. But alongside the Jackson Js1, the squier Strat and the Epiphone lp-100 it is one of the best low to middle price range guitars.

Desirability:
This is one of the most attractive guitars i've played, it has a sleek body (fortunately minus a scratch plate) and comes in a wide variety of colours, the headstock is standard ibanez and the switches and machine-heads are hyper-modern chrome, all in all a great looking guitar.

Sound:
This guitar has good sound quality, and is gives a crisp sound on all pickups, particularily the treble and is therefore excellent for soloing on. It sounds good on both overdrive and clean channels on my marshall and is therefore quite versatile and can be used to play heavier or lighter music. Personally i would reccomend it for neo-classical or metal genres.

Ease of Use:
It is not the most intuitive guitar to play and it can take a while to adjust to the high action, but of course this can be rectified. Also the volume and tone switches are not labelled so it is hard to adjust these precisely.

Support:
I never dealt with the company that made the guitar and (foolishly in retrospect) went straight to the guitar shop to try and fix the problem. However i had a good 2 year warranty and i never recieved any intrusive phone calls or unwanted post from ibanez after purchasing the guitar.

Overall:
Great guitar, beautiful sound and looks however slightly unreliable, but overall a solid choice for a beginner
