Sound:

The sound is very good for a bass in this price range. The SR 605 has a good B string for a 34" scale bass. I think this bass will work very well for a semi pro player or a Student looking to upgrade to a gigging instrument.

Feature:

I would like to have had a gig bag included but no big deal.

Ease of Use:

The bass sounds very good right from the box. The EQ is useable, reasonably quiet and the knob layout is intuitive and easy to use.

Quality:

The fit and finish is very good for a bass in this price range. I would think this bass will last for years and be a reliable work horse.

Manufacturer Support:

No comment. I never had to deal with them. The store I purchased it from (Same Day Music) was very helpful and has great service.

Value:

This bass represents a good value. I think it's worth every penny.

The Wow Factor:

Great looking bass. Streamlined design, fast neck and usable features make this a desirable intrument.

Overall:

I actually was so impressed with this instrument I decided to upgrade to the top of line Prestige series bass. I actually did not keep this bass for very long but that's not a bad thing. For me the playablity and design was so good, I made the decision to upgrade my investment because I can see myself using this style bass for years.
