Style of Music: Rock and loud

"Packs a wallop when plugged in....."

Sound:

Beats the heck out of my old Ovation for sound. Sound quality is fair unplugged but excellent when amplified. Tried it straight, through a processor, and then through an amp processor. Great sound.

Feature:

All tools were provided with this guitar.

Quality:

Could use a pickguard to protect finish but it would severly dampen the sound quality

Manufacturer Support:

No issues with the company that sold it or the one that made it. Own another Ibanez (electric) that really rocks.

Value:

Great price for the product.

The Wow Factor:

Pratical addition to replace an aging Ovation series acoustic

"Super Guitar"

Sound:

I was surprised with the unplugged sound, rather beefy for being sort of slim bodied. When I plugged in is, it came to life. Not at all what I expected. It really doesn;t have the "electric" sound when plugged in, it retained the acoustic nature. It shined when I played some jazz riffs. I thnk this one wil be my "jazz guitar."

Feature:

Good. the EQ works great. Could use a on-board tuner. but that's just a convienence rather than a necessity.

Ease of Use:

Played great ou of the box. Action was good, straight neck. Frankly, it wasn't that far out of tune when I pulled it from the box.

Quality:

Sounds better than some of the more expensive guitars out there.

Manufacturer Support:

Have not used the support yet, so I can't rate them

Value:

This is a great buy. Ibanez can get twice the asking price fo this model.

The Wow Factor:

This guitar looks fabulous. Like I said, I am going to play jazz on it, and it fits right.

Overall:

I expect to have this instrument for quite awhile. if it gets stolen, lost or whatever, I'll buy another to replace.

Ibanez TCM50 Talman Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar Customer Review

Sound:

this little guitar is by far and away one of the best Ive ever owned, unpluged its a little twangym but plugged in, this thing comes to LIFE!! The pickups on this are terrific I never dreamed this guitar would sound as good as it does. I had to have a bridge adjustment done on it and now it plays just like and electric, you breath on the strings and they chord for you. all in all Im an more than thrilled with it, id buy another one in a heartbeat!!
