"Go Ibanez, Go Happy"
Feature:Although it is sometimes underrated, the adjustable truss rod is a nice plus, so you can adjust the action the way you like. The electronics are simple, yet effective.
Quality:
Very solid. The finish is spotless, and the guitar has held up over time. I have become a solid endorser of Ibanez acoustic guitars.
Desirability:
Great guitar for beginners and seasoned players alike. Sometimes I prefer this to my Martin.
Sound:
I bought this guitar in June of 2004, and it still is like new (Feb of 08)....The guitar does not pronounce lows as much as it does highs. When strumming chords, however, this guitar shines, as they come off bright and clear. It is also loud, which makes it nice for playing live or in a group unplugged.
Ease of Use:
This product is very user-friendly. It is easy to get a great sound, and it stays in tune very well. I have played several live shows with it, without having to tune up at all. Out of the box, playability was excellent, although the neck is thinner than some players might like.
Support:
When I bought my first one, a screw on the tuners was stripped out. A simple call to Samedaymusic, and I had a new guitar in my hands in 2 days.

"Excellent setup, but numerous finish flaws, and possible defective internal bracing."
Quality:The setup on mine was incredible - VERY low action right out of the box with no buzzing anywhere. Lots of small cosmetic blemishes: mine had a large polyurethane sag at the base of the neck, small spots of dried glue here and there, and the little position dots on the side of the neck binding looked almost like they were smeared. The paint on the inside rim of the soundhole was scuffed all the way through to the wood in some spots. A more serious potential problem was that when light reflected off the face, I could see where one of the internal braces was. The guitar's face was slightly tented upwards there. Also- the 'TRANSPARENT BLUE' finish is NOT blue - it is nothing like the royal blue guitar pictured on this site. It is a very gradual black to greenish fade. It would be more appropriate to call it 'marine' or 'emerald' or 'dark teal.'
