"Poorly designed, average quality and overpriced."

    Feature:
The most useful feature is the USB connectivity--allowing the user to record LPs and 45s to a computer for later conversion to CD. This does show poor design in that the gain and EQ controls are located on the underside of the unit instead of being on top with the other controls. A second design flaw is that the unit lackes a cueing lever for the tone arm. Third, the unit lacks a dust cover. For the price paid, I'm wondering: Why? Ion includes it on their lower priced models--why skimp on this one?

    Quality:
Seems to be somewhat flimsy--exposed wires from the stylus to the tonearm--another indication of what I consider poor design.

    Desirability:
No "wow" factor here. This was a replacement turntable for an old one that was worn out. And it was the only model available locally.

    Ease of Use:
It isn't easy to use. One has to be very coordinated to make sure one punches the play button on the turntable and the record command on the computer as simultaneously as possible. The software also requires constant resetting of the playback and record defaults on the computer.

    Support:
Never had any dealings with them.

    Overall:
I'll keep this for as long as it works--but I wish I'd had other options locally.
