"Minor short-comings on a great piece of hardware"
Feature:
It has every preset needed to jam, gig or jus practise. Pretty handy part is the headphone option(a gd pair of headphones will produce better results). If there was some sort of metronome or even an onboard parametric EQ (hey can wish for it no?) this would b a serious piece of equipment. Tuner is quite accurate and love the options for silent tuning. Bypassing the FX is quite strange as suddenly there is a dramatic drop in volume. A separate EQ unit (Boss GEB-7) perhaps would remedy this or jus up the volume of the amp.
Quality:
Plasic. Not my personal fav but at this price and features? cant complain. The expression pedal looks n feels sturdy enough to stomp on (i would not suggest to jump on this thing). Looks road worthy and probably will take quite a beating before it stops working.
Value:
Bang for $$? Definitly. Is it worth for a first buy? Absolutely. beginers and first timers this is a worth-while buy. Advance n experienced users may beg to differ. Would have been nice to see an adapter with it cause it comes without one.
Desirability:
Personally my tastes in Nuwave, Funk, Pop, Rock and Punk put this FX high up in my list as a first Multi-FX pedal buy. I own one and i'm quite happy with it despite its minor short comings.
Sound:
The AX10B has some pretty nifty sounds for those who are into nuwave n funk. However, i was quite disappointed with some of the effects namely Octaver. I would not reccomend this for studio recording cause it just does not cut it. Overall this FX pedal is one sick puppy.
Support:
Have not needed it yet.
Overall:
Think it will b a long while before i upgrade to another Multi-FX pedal. Price, quality of sound n build make the AX10B worth the purchace. I play a lot of diverse genres so its a real bonus to have this FX. Minor issues with FX n sounds prevent me from giving it a higher score but overall, i
