"Triton Pro Excellent Choice, Not the best for Sample storage"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Sound:
This keyboard has a great sounds. I haven been able to find a more precise keyboard for my studio than the Triton Pro. Main outs are hot though, Have to run the board through a compressor\ gate to lower my levels before recording. Drum patches are lacking somewhat, but there are 6 kits in the internal memory that are not even mapped to the board when you start it up. You have to save those to E bank and then you can use them. There are some great drum sounds in thouse patches!
Feature:
Sampling function is the key! I have sampled live instrumets right onto my Triton and edited them quickly to make patches on the board. That feature is hot!A hard drive would really be nice since I have to carry my zip drive around with the board now. The Trinity had a hard drive option, why not the Triton?!?!?!?!?!?!
Quality:
Korg did it again with this high-tech machine, The quality of this product is unheard of! Its been on the road with me for over a year. Its got a few dings and the headphone jack is broke, but it still sounds great.
Manufacturer Support:
New OS is avaliable online about every 6 months. Installed and new features and capabilities come alive like never before. Great Work Kork
Value:
Pricy! Would be worth every penny with 32MB of sample memory and a hard drive or SCSI standard.
The Wow Factor:
Triton Studio 76 is the way to go if you have the dough!
Overall:
I'm completly appaled at the fact that the Triton Studio came out 1 month after I finally decided to break down and get this board. I would really like to have the features that the Studio has, but overall this is a high quality board with more stuff on it that I know what to do with! With the SCSI and an external Zip or hard drive, the sky is the limit with this thing!
