"Want the best sounds?? This is it!"

Feature:
As mentioned before, not as many sounds(don't need them). The keyboard could really use a USB/Firewire port.

Quality:
Built like a tank and feels really stable-like it should for $5000.

Value:
Compared to others, the retail is a little high but so many places are selling them around 50% off, that makes it a great deal.

Desirability:
No hype....no flashy colors, lights, drum machine pads, etc. Once again, doesn't need it!

Sound:
What can you say.....when your the best, your the BEST! Kurzweil has cornered the market on "True Sounds" with Yamaha being second. I feel the main reason so many people buy the "Korg's, Roland's & Yamaha's" is that these guys offer "thousands of sounds" and more techno/hip hop sounds than anyone else. But has anyone truly listened to these other sounds? They sound good, even pretty good but when compared to a K2600, there is no comparison! Trust me on this! I own a Korg Triton Extreme, a Roland Fantom X7 and a Motif ES rack & still prefer my K2600! Look at the "true professionals" and see what they play...

Support:
So far, so goood.....

Overall:
It's my workhorse......until they make a K2700?? By the way, to the bonehead up above who gave it a 1/10. He obviously never used it, so he just now knocked down the ratings.....must be a Korg/Roland user!

"Perfect."

Feature:
Literally thousands of features. The manual is 598 pages long...

Quality:
This thing is built like a tank. Well crafted and designed.

Value:
$2,700 Oh my GOD!!! This is basically GIVING IT AWAY! List price on this thing is $7,700!!!

Desirability:
If you're looking for a professional keyboard, then at this price you better order this... as I mentioned the list price is $7,700. That price is what the company wants. This should be illegal! You won't be disappointed.

Sound:
Best sound I ever heard out of any musical keyboard. Surpasses the Korg Triton Studio no doubt.

Support:
No problems with it or the company at all.

Overall:
Kurzweil does a great job of evolution in its products. If you buy this product you won't ever have to worry about it going obsolete. At their site you are able to update the programs and such.

"If you don't have one-get one...if you don't want one-see a shrink!!"

Sound:
I've owned mine ofr about 6 mos., and I still shake my head in amazement when I pull it out of my case. I gig about 2-3 times a wk., and the looks I get from other keyboardists, is almost worth every dollar I spent for it. Just last night at practice, I local sound guy sat in with our soundman for some pointers, and instead of sitting at the mixer he was up there with me-peppering me with questions. The sad(or wonderful, however you look at it) thing is, I am STILL learning to use all of the tools that this thing possesses.

Support:
I had a question recently, and e-mailed Kurzweil for the answer. And after just a few e-mails I had it going(bought a volume pedal, and a stereo di-box), and they even contacted me again a week later to make sure all was fine.
