"Great Bang for the Buck!"
Sound:
This little unit reproduces vocals, guitars, keyboards, etc. very well. The unit is small, but the sound is not. The cabinets employ x2 6.5" drivers and a tweeter each. Hence, you are not going to get gut wrenching bass from this unit. The system is perfect for a guitarist or a duo playing the local bistro, but cannot be used for applications that require the entire audio frequency to be reproduced (pro Karaoke, DJ's, etc.)or for any application requiring extended low end performance.
Voices sound great through this system as do keyboards and guitars. The unit can reach some suprisingly high volume levels. The digital effects employed are professional sounding and impressive (especially when you consider the price of this unit)
Feature:
The system is stereo, but does not include any pan controls. Hence, all microphone inputs should be considered mono. Speaker leads are included, but they are lightweight and should be replaced with quality leads to reduce annoying hum present. You can plug a guitar directly into channel 5's instrument jack. All peices have a sturdy, well designed built-in carrying handle to make moving them around a breeze.
The cabinets are very attractive and look very sleek when mounted on their optional stands.
The 24-bit effects really sound better than they should on a $300. pa system.
Quality:
Looks like it is well built. Fit and finish is superior. Unit should last a long time.
Manufacturer Support:
Have had no dealings.
Value:
An excellent value for a small portable pa system. It's hard to believe that you can get professional sound for such a low price. As long as you use the system for what it is designed for, you will be happy. If you have a rock band and really want to rock the house, you obviously need to get something bigger.
The Wow Factor:
Sleek looking slim cabinets that output sound that defy their size.
Overall:
Great product as long as it is used as intended.
