"A nice little bongo-suitable for all levels of musicianship"

Sound:

The conditioning is great, I like a little "looser" feeling though, so I have the heads streatched for about 15 bucks. It gives it a real sound that fits in with my latin group as well as the rasta startup group called rastAmen, gospel centered rasta jam music. Check it out!

Feature:

It came with a tuning wrench that satisfied my tastes.

Quality:

With regular use at rastAmen, it will last maybe 8 months. At a school or home, probably 5 years.

Manufacturer Support:

Excellent. simple.

Value:

you won't find a better price with the availablility of samedaymusic.

The Wow Factor:

Personally, I would go with Jamaican colors but the finish is nice, a little too glossy for me. It definately isn't a natural look.

Overall:

This is a wonderful product. It is of high quality, both in manufacturing and musicality. When I get rid of it, it will be because it will be thread bare and worn to bits.

Sound:

This product is great. For the price, the instrument has a great sound and is a very good instrument for beginners. Even if you have some expertise on the bongos, these are still pretty good- they are sturdy, have a nice sound, and go well with almost any other instrument. I am very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this product! I shopped around, and this was the lowest price for the best quality instrument- I also love the dark wood finish on it!

Feature:

These bongos came with a tuner, which is very useful, and also a carrying case. The case is just alright, but I don't carry around my bongos much, so that doesn't really matter to me.

Ease of Use:

The sound is very nice, and it is easy to tune this instrument. It would be helpful for this product to come with an instruction booklet because unfortunately it does not. As a true beginner, I would have liked to have a beginners guide for use or something like that.

Quality:

The bongos are somewhat small, but I like it that way because they are easy to fit into your lap, carry around, and anyone can play them. The dark wood finish looks very classy, and the bongos are well-made and sturdy.

Value:

Great value!!! Such a low price for the quality you are getting!

Overall:

I only gave this product a 9 because I have only had it for 2 months. Time will tell if these bongos will hold up and produce great sound through the years, but as a beginner product, I think these bongos are great! They sound awesome, look classy, and are easy to get used to playing. Overall a great value for a great product!
