"Absolutely,The best home studio for musicians going for the price!"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
It has everything I wanted in a home studio. I am giving straight 10s because I can't believe the negative reviews I've read. This is the best deal going and nothing touches it for the price - and I looked a lot. You get exactly what they say you are going to get. If you want to pay 3 - 6 times the cost you can record more instruments. I love the editing and mixing capabilities.
Quality:
Like I said, I haven't seen one thing it promised prior to buying that it hasn't delivered on. It is small and I haven't dropped it. No complaints.
Value:
If you want to make your own music playing instruments AND you can do all of the midi tracks you want. I've only dabbled with the midi via my keyboard at this point, but learned enough to believe that what they say about using midi is true.
Desirability:
I play with a drum machine, my guitar, my friend's guitar and a bass player. We also record a single vocal just to keep track of where we are in the song for editing later. If you need more than that, pay 3-6 times more and record more inputs.
Sound:
The sound of the playback is the same as the sound that goes in. Very clear and no hiss or pops, etc. I play guitar, piano and sing. This product is perfect for someone doing their own thing. Some reviewer wrote they can't do 4 instruments at once. I am doing five -- all separately controlled with no "bleeding" of the other instruments. (Vocals, of course, pick up the sound from the amplifiers, so I re-record vocalslater. Still the original vocal is not bad.) I suggest that reviewer read the manual.
Support:
They responded to my email questions promptly.
Overall:
I am sold on this product. Perfect for what I wanted and anybody that thinks they can get more for the money doesn't know what they are talking about. This is not for "computer" musicians. It is for someone who plays, sings, etc. and doesn't want to spend a whole lot.
