"FBV Express works------sometimes."
Feature:Easy to use, although it would be nicer if the channel selects were in a row instead of stacked. Easier to access.
Quality:
Seems pretty sturdy/solid. However, I am waiting for a replacement at this time. The one I received didnt work correctly. Only had sound on the wah channel, and not wah or clear. Volume channel didnt work at all. Calibrating didnt work either. Read MANY forums with the same problem. Nothing worked for me. Suspect defective from stock. My friends FBV express worked great in my spider II.
Value:
For 100 bucks, I think its worth it. If you have a Line6, its a MUST! Now I can change tones in a song without turning knobs. As an amature, it certainly fits my needs. I would rather spend extra money on a new guitar. You can never have too many guitars
Desirability:
Its a box with switches.
Sound:
Sounds like it should. Wah is ok, does the job for us amatures.
Ease of Use:
Again, you have to be careful when selecting the top channels so as not to hit the bottom ones by accident. Also, the wah/volume change is pretty stiff. No way you could do it sitting down. Really have to lean into it, but it will probably loosen up a bit.
Support:
Its the weekend so I cant get anyone on the phone. Needs replacement anyway.
Overall:
I'll keep it as long as it works. Although I received it in 2 days, which was great, I am dissapointed that it doesnt work. Now I have to wait again.

"FBV Express, a little pricey but overall worth every penny."
Feature:Comes with an ethernet cable which is nice. The on board tuner is great and accurate.
Quality:
A little more plastic than I would have preferred, but I take good care of my instruments and equipment so I do not foresee any problems.
Value:
I think the selling price is a bit pricey. I do think that Line 6 should offer the simple FBV pedal with amps, and allow you to have the option to upgrade to an FBV Express or Shortboard. That would make shelling out $100 a little easier if it was a choice and not an urgent necessity. But it does have the built in tuner which adds to the value a great deal.
Desirability:
Well designed and looks nice. Easy to see all the indicator lights at a distance and the tuner as well. I have never really thought of foot pedals as a sexy item, but if they can be I guess this would be as sexy as they come.
Sound:
The pedal does not affect the tone in the least.
Ease of Use:
The pedal does not affect the tone and it switches instantly and silently which is nice. No lag at all when switching channels. Works great.
Support:
I have had four Line 6 products and I have never had to use customer support once.

"Truly express yourself with this floorboard."
Feature:4 button footswitch, tap tempo for the channels, built in tuner, and a volume and wah pedal. What more could you ask for
Quality:
Very sturdy, I feel confident carrying it around. Very reliable.
Value:
So much value packed into this. Don't want to spend a lot for the shortboard, but feel like your getting taken for the 4 button footswitch? Get this believe me you won't regret it. It is a great piece to have for both practing and for gigs.
Desirability:
So much packed into this little floorboard.
Sound:
Sounds great. Volume and Wah pedal is very useful, the wah is amazing.
Support:
Haven't dealt with them with this but for my Spider II they were great.
Overall:
Great Product, so much better than I expected and my expectations were high to begin with. Perfect for anyone with a tight budget and great for anyone with a Spider II.
