"If your looking for versatility, this is your amp!"

    Feature:
It has the most features of any amp I looked at in this price range.

    Quality:
Good, sturdy little amp. I don't go on the road, so I can't tell you how it would stand up to that particular exposure, but I suspect it would do very well.

    Value:
I couldn't find any amp that compares to this one because of all the sound options this one has.

    Desirability:
What can I say, it's a geat little amp. It was more than I was looking for as far as features, but it was in the price range I was looking for, so it was a no-brainer.

    Sound:
This is a great sounding little amp. I got turned on to Line-6 cuz my son-in-law has a bigger model, and the sound is awesome. You can tweak it to change the sound considerably, from nice and clean to hard and nasty. It uses a brand name speaker, Celestion, which is good to know.

    Ease of Use:
Make sure you read the directions. You'll learn a few tricks on how to get the most out of this little gem.

    Overall:
I generally do a lot of research on anything that I purchase, but I wasn't sold on any particular amp when I walked into our local music store. I bought the Line-6 because of the extra sounds I could get out of it, being that I'm using it just for pure fun. I also knew that it was a pretty good product based on my son-in-laws experience with Line-6 products.

"O.K for the money but extremely poor tone."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
I can appreciate the effort but the factory 4 amp models are not that great and they break up and with the Fender Frontman the drive channel covers all the four distortion ranges on the Line 6. Also the chorus/Flanger is O.K. the Phaser is Marginal and I don't know anyone who uses Tremolo. The two echo effects I don't see much use for but the Reverb is slightly better than the Fender

    Quality:
If you hit a certain resonant frequency the chassis vibrates at high volumes. I don't know why people make such a big deal about this company. If all their products are like this amp I can't believe the've been aroun this long.

    Value:
A lot of amp for the money. Good for a beginner or if you are using an effects processor to compensate for the extremely poor tone.

    Desirability:
I am going to exchange this for another Fender Frontman. You see more Fenders out there than any other Amp. There must be a reason for it........

    Sound:
The tone on this amp is horrible. It sounds very "Muddy". Compared to my Fender Frontman it sounds cheap. The sound jumps out of the Fender and is much more crisp and clean. Granted, for the same price you get more features w/ the Line 6 but the're really not that great. You get what you pay for.

    Ease of Use:
    Fairly straight forward

    Support:
Won't get a chance to use it as I'm sending this amp back

    Overall:
A lot of amp for the money but it lacks in quality and sound.

"Great amp for its value, excellent sound."

    Feature:
The features, as I mentioned before, are awesome. The variety of effects and different channels is unbeatable. Also, the handle on the top makes transport a lot easier. 10/10!

    Quality:
The quality of this rugged amp is great. It can be thrown in the back of a truck/car/van and won't take a scratch, unless something hits the back of the speaker. Ah, the speaker. It is a nagging problem that can't cease to pester me. The back of the amp is open-ended so the speaker is pretty vunerable. Also, another small yet annoying trifle, if your roadie/groupie/mom carries it with the knobs rubbing against their leg, the settings will kinda screw up. Yet, those "trifles" are nothing once you get used to it, and the amp makes up for that by its never-fading volume. I've played this amp for a number of years and still counting, and the volume hasn't faded at all. 9/10

    Value:
The value of this amp is great. Even though the thought of 15 watts for 100 bucks or so might deter you, its 8-inch speaker is worth every penny.

    Desirability:
I'm not really a person that cares too much about how my amp looks, so I'm gonna have to dish out another 9 for lack of knowledge on the subject. The hard plastic case with well-designed panel board, the metal knobs, the general rugged look make it more appealing to me, but i know some people think it's downright ugly, so this category really depends on the person's perception. 9/10

    Sound:
The sounds you can get from this amp are amazing. With four channels, six effects,(up to two effects at once) and more, you can get killer tones from dreamy clean, to sharp crunch, to insane pulverizing! In my experience I have never failed in getting the right tones from this little powerhouse. In addition, its volume makes it great for gigging. 10/10!

    Overall:
I think I will be happy with the Line6 Spider III 15 for a while. The great effects, lasting sound quality, durability, and look are all I need for now. If I ever replace it, it will be for sheer volume, for a big concert or something of that sort. The only thing that could potentially be not so great is the fact that its kind of easy to bust the speaker by hitting it if you're not careful.
