Style of Music: Classic Rock

"Move over Marshall this amp ROCKS!!!"

Sound:

It is perfect for anything from Blues to classic rock. Takes pedals well so even metal should sound awesome. This amp was exactly what I was looking for. Went to check out a Marshall Class 5 and brought this home instead. Same tubes+, Celestial 12" vs 10" speaker and more features!! I've played Marshalls for 45+ years and this sounds just as good! I think it would be tough to tell the difference between this and the classic Marshall amps.

It has Gain,Vol.low, mid, high eq plus a tone. A

Ease of Use:

If you like that British overdriven tube sound this ROCKS!! Have tried A les Paul Custom & Studio,a SG & a Strat. guitars and with minor adjustments was able to get an excellant tone for all of them! Plus how many amps have an effects loop for your delays or harmonizers etc. that sound like crap through the front? Takes OD pedals great too!

Quality:

Can't comment on how reliable it is as I've only had it a week. Looks great and is built like a tank. It is made in China, but so is everything else now days, so I no longer look at that as a problem for this class of amp!! Not sure it would be loud enough for the road but would use it in small clubs without a backup. Everything looks to be built really solid, I see nothing that looks fragile about this amp.

Value:

This product IMO is the best you could get and more compared to the other UK companies in this price range! And I also have a full JCM2000 Marshall stack for live gigs, but this will replace it for recording and home practice.

The Wow Factor:

It's a plain looking amp nothing fancy! It just has that sound that makes you want to play for hours!

Overall:

This the end of the search for my home recording studio. I would replace it in a heartbeat!
