Style of Music: Acoustic blues, rock, pop,&c

"iBeam : Solid Performer"

Sound:

Far superior to typical undersaddle transducers---less "quack", more open, woody sound. I have this pickup installed in two of my performing guitars, use a LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI preamp & an A/B box. I get the sound I want, for the most part.

Feature:

Comes with a good quality endpin jack.

Quality:

One of mine is over a year old and still works like new. Nothing to wear out. Once installed, it's out of sight, out of mind.

Manufacturer Support:

Have not had need for support. It works the way it's supposed to.

Value:

All of these cost too much---but compared to comparable products, I think it's a good value.

The Wow Factor:

It's a pickup, not a sports car.

Overall:

Considering the addition of condensor mics to open up the sound a bit, when I can afford it. Overall I am very pleased with this product.
