"Sounds perfect, but will feedback at higher volumes"
Overall:I installed this myself. If you're not sure exactly how to install, you should give it to a tech, as it can get difficult when you're not used to working inside the soundhole of a guitar. I used the recommended position from the manual, I put the pickup as close to the ball ends as possible, and slid it down a few millimetres toward the treble side. It sounds absolutely perfect in my Custom Martin D-15 with spruce top. I noticed a tendency to feedback on the 2nd and third fret A string, (the B and C notes) which produced a powerful low feedback, but this was at a higher volume setting, and I was a bit close to the amp. I got the same feedback with my buddy's Fishman matrix, so it's really no worse than that. On stage with a PA facing forward I don't imagine it will feedback at all. Even so, I will be purchasing an LR Baggs "Feedback Master" just in case. Anyway, the sound is acoustically perfect. Love it!
