"buy these drums, theyre worth every penny."
Feature:
the components that come with it are good. double braced hardware all the way around. the pedals ok, but im going to upgrade to a tama hp200 double pedal soon. im actually glad that it didnt come with the cymbals because usually the cymbals that do come with the kits in this price range are crap, so youre basically paying for bottom range stuff. i bought some zildjian zxt titanium ones and they are great. i highly recommend them.
Quality:
definatly a well made set. i havent had any problems with anything coming apart or moving when its not supposed to. its basically like the ronco guy on tv says "set it and forget it"
Value:
yeah id say its definatly worth what you would pay for it. i think in the under $500 class this set is probably one of the best. it doesnt come with the cymbals, but in my eyes thats a good thing.
Desirability:
its a really good set for the money, especially if you throw a set of remo or evans heads on there. hell a set of remo heads costs maybe $100 and improves the overall "drool factor" a lot.
Sound:
definatly a great sounding kit for the $350 price tag. kinda tough to get it tuned exactly where you want it if youve never done it before, but overall it sounds great. mine came with remo heads (local shop hooked me up) so i dont really know about the stock ones, but the remos sound good on it.
Support:
i dont know about the support yet because ive never had a problem that needed to be talked about with the company. my local shop has been able to handle everything that ive done to this kit.
Overall:
i think overall this is a great kit. i mean think about it, all you really need is a set of cymbals and maybe heads (like i said i never had the stock heads on my kit) and youre set, especially if youre starting out. all i need now is some double pedals, and maybe a couple more cymbal stands and a china, and im set.
