Style of Music: For these speakers, Elvis Impersonations

Experience: Hobbyist, but paid as well

Sound:

Sounds great. I'm using them with a Yamaha 200w per channel powered mixer with tracks through my MacBook and a Shure wireless SM 58 mic. Vocals are crystal clear and carry well. The horns really are impressive. The bass and mids are pretty good, considering it's a 10" speaker. Had to really work the EQ to get the sound I was looking for, but for what I do, they sound great. I'm using them in restaurants, dining rooms, etc... and for that application, they work great. Good coverage, can run them hot and not get feedback.

Feature:

Easy to transport, carry and set up. They have handles on the top and side, so you can safely lift them overhead to place on speaker stands. They are small enough that I can fit them into the trunk of my car.

Ease of Use:

Extremely easy. Plug up, eq and go!

Quality:

Speakers feel solid, sound great. Don't feel "cheap".

Manufacturer Support:

Shipping was quick. Bought "open box" and they were perfect.

Value:

Price was important. Bought 2 speakers I'm using at work that are also 10" cabs, that were a little cheaper, and they work well, but I like the Mackie's better.

The Wow Factor:

They look great set up, the cabinets are clean and look nice. I purchased them because my old speakers were looking pretty beat up.

Overall:

At the moment, I would purchase again. I've used them in 2 shows so far, will be using them 2 more times next month. We'll see how they continue to perform!
