"Very useful...good recording quality...only a few minor "snags""
Feature:
I got some patch cords, a remote and the manual, of course. I purchased the sturdy case for another 100. It was well worth the money. It's very portable.
Quality:
I think the product is made well and has a lot of functions. You could use it on the road. It is very compact and not heavy or bulky.
Value:
In my personal opion, I think it is quite sophisticated and useful and worth the price.
Desirability:
I'm not so sure about sex appeal. It's just a piece of handy equiptment to enhance one's ability to perform more effectively.
Sound:
The superscope recorded a ladies trio singing (with no hand held microphones), with a grand piano accompaniment, very well. We just recorded in an empty choir room. I thought it would not record well but the quality was much better than I had anticipated. If a person knew what they were doing, they could probably make it sound even better. You could even hear us slighly breathing(standing over 10 feet from the unit). The piano did not drown out the voices, either. I am not very saavy when it comes to electronics, but I was able to figure out quite a few things by reading the manual. The only problem is when I played back the CD of the trio singing, I didn't get the volumne that I would like to hear. Other CD's don't sound as loud either. Maybe it needs another piece of equiptment to boost the sound. I asked the retailer about the sound.I may have to get some kind of amplifier. I'll check into it further.
Support:
I have not contacted the company. No problems.
Overall:
I like this piece of equiptment very much. I would replace it if it was stolen. I will need to add some other pieces of equiptment to it, I think, but I really like what it does and would recommend it for purchase. One problem I did have is, I have not figured out how not to hear the "click" of the turning on of the internal mic for recording. I need to do more experiementing. Maybe if I turn the volumne down then turn on the mic then turn the sound back up, might work. I haven't tried that yet, but I know that turning on the internal mic does record a "click". That's probably only a minor thing to someone who isn't so " electronically challenged". If you need to do more than one function at a time, there is no sequence of order to help you do that.
