"Good product, built solid and reliable"
Feature:It has all the features I need --- I don't need to connect to an ADAT or DA88. MIDI ; SPDIF ; and 8 1/4" in/outs suits my needs.
Sound:
I'm sure there's better (more expensive) A-D converters out there, but I'm on a budget.
Support:
I've had to contact support on a couple of occasions. They are typically very responsive and helpful. I give them a 6 only because it has taken so long to get an appropriate driver for OS X to use multiple units...though this could be Apple's fault.
Overall:
I've used a Delta 1010 for 3 years with no complaints. I expanded my studio and added another 1010. My biggest and only complaint is that I've been waiting 7 months for a driver that will allow me to use both units at the same time in OS X. I still have to use OS 9 to record 16 channels.

"MRz Review: Thought you'd like to know..."
Feature:- Outdated graphical inteface - CANT resize the menu so youl ALWAYS scroll around - NO ONE MENTIONED : b/c you have a breakout box, its more likley going break. - Many people reported IRQ issues, pops & click and no sound at all. THIS INTEFACE IS NOT USER FRIENDLY! You need to know windows inside and out, just incase it doesnt work on you. WHICH IS VERY LIKLEY
Quality:
- Its heavy as a rock but the breakout box (internally) is cheap - it OVERHEATS...m-audio says its ok. YEAH RIGHT!
Value:
- NOT designed to last more than 5 years. - out of all units ive delt with most died within 2 years - the breakout box will die first
Desirability:
NEVER ANYTHING M-AUDIO! yamaha over this anyday
Sound:
normal
Support:
Talked for hours w/ customer care (long distance to california). You will not believe how ignorant they are.
Overall:
-overheating -unreliable -didnt pass MS HCL -outdated inteface
