"Manufacturer has some serious quality control issues!"

Overall:
This keyboard is an excellent IDEA for the money; however, I've had some serious problems with the velocity response on my unit. I'm waiting on my third one from M-Audio because they've all had similar problems; some keys play significantly louder than others. This is a big deal for piano players who are trying to play expressive, dynamic passages. Be warned; this is not, in my experience, a good board for professional keyboard/piano players! If you are just banging out some drum parts or synth lines, then you might be okay with it. (I've been assured that the problem is being looked into by M-Audio; my question is: "Why did you ship and sell so many of these boards without testing them? It's a pretty obvious problem!")
