    "My opinion is honest."

    Feature:
I'm a Cakewalk Sonar refugee. When I first got into digital recording I first learned to use Sonar. But started to realised that it was really limited, so I researced what was the most common DAW used in music industry. Thats when I learned of Digidesign's Pro Tools. I felt like I met christ all over again. Pro Tools was a widening of the eyes, no more aimlessly clicking with the mouse in sonar. If you thought sonar looked cool and Pro Tools looked cheesy, think again after you use Pro Tools. Now I think sonar just looks like a sugar-coated carboard spaceship. The look is only deciveing. Pro Tools design is there for you to produce, not to give first impressions. Nothing beats editing in Pro Tools. Edit anything, produce anything with ease.

    Quality:
Pro Tools has it all, besides Logic and Digital Performer. Name speaks for itself. Pro tools has become the centre of digital audio for professional's that built their careers around it. Grammy award winners had praised Pro Tools and Digidesign every since it started.

    Value:
How much the retail pice is for Pro Tools is just right. Just there hardware is alittle costy because your paying for quality and value. I have M-Audio products right now, but im saving to buy a 002 and go Pro Tools LE.

    Desirability:
I would loose a part of myself without Pro Tools. I want it over and over again. For live in the future, Pro Tools Venue systems seems way to good to be true. It would be a dream come true to finally work on a Icon D-Command and Pro Tool HD Accel 3 system.

    Sound:
Probably the best sounding DAW that exist today. Pro Tools has its own audio engine (DAE). Too good true sound.

    Ease of Use:
The manual was very straight forward, too the point, and edited very well. I got tons of help for books, DVD's that were created by real pro's. Already a Pro Tools user in weeks. Learned it way faster than sonar.

    Support:
I didn't have to use it yet. But if I had to im sure that it has a good support system. It has to because Digidesign is the most high profile company. Just make sure you have a compatible computer that will run Pro Tools smoothly. You can find that all out on there website.

    Overall:
Pro Tools will be my main from now on, if I had to learn another major DAW, it would be Logic. Overall, Digidesign makes the best, is the best, stays the best. If you are seeking the standard, go with Pro Tools you can't go wrong with it. Don't buy expensive pro gear than use a medicore DAW. Top notich gear and Pro Tools (=) killer sound the one you were looking for.
