"Best Bang for the Buck"
Feature:Tuning wrench was included. For the beginners, instructions on how to tune would have been nice, even though I already know how to play it.
Quality:
This drum had no manufacturing flaws in it that I could see.
Sound:
Authentic Cajon Sound. No buzz, no fuzz. could have a little bit more bass sound, but slaps are screaming and overall cajon sound is definitely there. Sounds very much like my $350 Fat Congas model.
Ease of Use:
Easy to tune, great slaps, good average bass tone. Easy to carry and you should get the bag that Meinl makes for it.
Support:
I had an issue with a damaged bongo cajon that I bought too, and I had my replacement in less than two weeks. The guy who helped me promised to send some additional catalogs for my friends and I got them for free in the mail just a couple days after talking to him.
