"Read the reviews on the web, then buy it :)"

    Feature:
It's a Martin Dreadnaught Acoustic. No more needs to be said about it :)

    Quality:
    Again, it's a Martin :)

    Value:
The fact that I could finally buy my dream guitar (I've dreamed about owning a Martin for years) for what I paid for it makes it a great value.

    Desirability:
After hearing and playing mine, my nephew went out and bought the same exact model. Enough said.

    Sound:
I know that sound is subjective to the listerners ears, but I read just about every review I could on this guitar before I purchased it. 99.9% of the people who reviewed it raved about it. After owning this guitar, I agree. The sound is beautiful, at least to me.

    Ease of Use:
It plays fantastic, and easy to play barre chords on. Out of the box, mine didn't need any adjustments.

    Support:
I haven't needed to use it, but I suspect it's good.

    Overall:
Anyone who knows anything about Martins know that they are one of the best guitars you can get, and they are handmade in the USA.

"If you can only afford to buy one guitar, make it a Martin."

    Feature:
It's got everything a 6 string guitar is supposed to have, so there's nothing I didn't get that I was not expecting.

    Quality:
I'm just learning what to look for and how to compare good from bad. I like the looks but I'm very concerned about any abuse it might be able to take like the weather and such, no not a bar fight.

    Value:
I picked mine up at a local music store for considerable less than here. But you usually get what you pay for as the old saying goes.

    Desirability:
I just jumped into the guitar thing 10 weeks ago, bought my first guitar over the internet and what a bomb. Bought my second at a local music store and thought I was in love into I picked up the first Martin and strummed it. I'm in love for the second time of my life.

    Sound:
I've owned three guitars in the very short time that I have been playing or should I say learning to play, but sound is something that you either love or hate. My Martin sounds like angels when I'm hitting the correct chords.

    Support:
Have needed any support as of yet but we'll see when the time comes. I'm just hoping it's a good as I've been told.

    Overall:
Like I said earlier, I've only picked up the guitar several weeks ago, I know I don't have the experience and knowledge that most of you have but I know the difference between good and bad. I also know you get out of life what you put into it and I do believe this guitar will be with me for a long long time, if I can ever learn to play at my stage in life.

    "One fine guitar!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
The only accessory to speak of is the DM's hard-shell case. It's well-made and offers terrific protection of the guitar.

    Quality:
Martin-made. That's all one really has to say. Made in the good old USA by luthiers who know what they're doing.

    Value:
Great bang for the buck. Well-made. Outstanding soft finish.

    Desirability:
    It's a Martin.

    Sound:
Very mellow sound from this dreadnought. The second Martin I've owned and enjoyed. The H/C case that accompanies the axe is also well-made and protects the DM very well.

    Ease of Use:
Playability is absolutely pristine. The guitar also weighs next to nothing, which might give some users the impression that it's pretty fragile. I've had mine for over 3 years now and the only wear & tear to speak of are minor scratches on the pick guard.

    Support:
Not applicable, really. Haven't had a need to contact Martin, but have every expectation that it would be terrific.

    Overall:
Playability. Sound quality. Quality craftsmanship. An outstanding value.

"The Best Sounding Guitar in the World!"

    Feature:
    The guitat had no accessories.

    Quality:
I feel this instrument is lifetime with proper care and use. It is made very well. For me you only need one good instrument, a Martin.

    Value:
I feel it is. I've seen Gibsons and Guilds crack and separate and split in the most unusual places, at the neck and the bridge and the bottom half of the front of the guitar.

    Desirability:
A new music store opened up down the street and my daughter plays violin and needed strings, so I went there. There was a display of Martin guitars standing so proud on display. I took a double take and was thrilled that someone in town had this product. I was like a kid in a candy store. Their prices were in the sky area though.

    Sound:
There is no sound quite like this Martin guitar. I own a copy of a Martin, an Arita acoustic guitar. I've always wanted this model Martin. Once you hear the quality of sound, you never forget it! The Arita I have is close and sounds far better than a Gibson or a Guild. The lihgt weight 9 pound guitar with the rosewood and sprice sounds like no other. When played with other guitars it stands alone.

    Support:
I've never dealt with the company as my friend owned it and there were never any problems with it.

    Overall:
This is a product of a lifetime investment. You only need one good guitar and I feel Martin's are the best in the world. If it were stolen, you could not replace it with something else. When you play one and get used to fantastic action and the hightest quality acoustic sound like no other, a Yamaha or Gibson will do nothing for you.

    Martin DM Customer Review

I've been playing guitar over 10 years and I've never picked up an acoustic that sounded better than my Martin DM. People in Nazareth, PA know how to make a guitar.

"The pawn shop will give you alot more on a guitar if it says MARTIN on it."

    Quality:
The guitar is very, very light. I have been very careful not to knock the body into anything because I have a fear that it will fall apart at the slightest contact. But, after 2 years has held together just fine.

    Sound:
For the price the DM provides a great range of tones. However,a little more Boom from the bass strings would have been nice. It stays in tune and holds a note as well-if not better- than any other guitar in that price range.

    Overall:
If you aren't rich and want a guitar that you can enjoy playing around the house, buy the DM.
