"Best " bang for the buck" acoustic guitar"

    Sound:
This particular OMC1E I own has been custom built with a Walrus Ivory nut, Bone saddle, Greven 50's vintage beveled tortise pickguard, gold plated Waverly C.F.Martin stamped 18-1 open backed vintage tuners, Grained Ivory string pins with Abalone dots, Mahogany stained Stratabond neck and a gold plated end pin jack nut. That aside, this instrument is an incredible bargin for the pure balance from string to string. Outstanding dynamics and note definition. The low end is not overbearing like dreadnaught style guitars are. The highs are clear and bright but not harsh and shrill. It produces a very warm open sound that really excells at fingerpicking style of play.
    Feature:
It came with a good quality hard shell Martin case. A bit heavy but most wood cases are. It came with all the Martin paperwork and warranty. It has a wonderful Fishman Aero + electronics system that enhances the tonal beauty of this guitar when plugged in to any really good sound system or acoustic amplifier. It comes stock with a corian nut and tusq saddle which in my opinion could have been supplied with at least a bone nut and saddle for an instrumenmt in the 1500 dollar price range. The stock tuners are good don't get me wrong but I just perfered the world class Waverly open backed vintage ones.
    Ease of Use:
If your any level of an accomplished player this guitar will become your front line instrument. One you will write songs on, feel so comfortable holding in your arms and the first one you pick up and the last one you put down, trust me on this. This guitar plays like absolute melted butter right out of the box.
    Quality:
It's a C.F.Martin solid wood instrument. That should say all that needs to be said. It's wonderful very thin satin finish will make the guitar "open up" a lot sooner than a gloss finish one will. It's top ages very nicely to a vintage amber tone in a short amount of time. I use this guitar for live performances and recording. Always have a back up due to possible string breakage or the unforseen but have never had to use one. It's my frontline guitar and I depend on it day in and day out. It has never let me down in any way. It was built to last a lifetime if taken proper care of.
    Manufacturer Support:
C.F.Martin is the best when it comes to dealing with customer service. Great response time and very helpful.
    Value:
BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK IN THE ENTIRE GUITAR WORLD.... PERIOD!!!
    The Wow Factor:
go play one, toch one, hold one and feel it's charm as it sits so comfortably in your lap, wrap your arm around it and no more has to be said.
    Overall:
I think the above review answers this question. I'll have mine for the rest of my life and I've been playing for over 45 years and have never had an acoustic guitar that became my musical soulmate the way this guitar did.
