"THE MONSTER OF ROCK! AC/DC SOUND!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Nice and simple.Just the way I like it.6 knobs. Just what you need.

    Quality:
Heavy Duty. This thing looks great on stage. Road worthy.I am always careful with it to keep it mint. I don't need a back up amp for this.

    Value:
Great value.Worth every penny.I wouldn't mind a bottom cab to get a full stack though.

    Desirability:
Beautiful amp. I think it's the best amp Marshall ever made.

    Sound:
Great sound but you got to crank it if you want natural distortion. When I crank this thing it feels so good. To get the sound you want just plug it into a pedal.I get the sound I want which is AC/DC,all my settings are is presence 6 to 7,bass 4,mid 6,treble 6,volume 5. Just plug into the top-left input for a great sound.I bought a TSL and all I can say is I didn't have it for long,it's a joke for an amp.Plus i'm a simple guy so I just want a simple amp the TSL had too many knobs that were just in the way so I sent it back.It sounds great live on stage.Putting all the settings on 5 sounds great also.I use a Gretsch Solid body with this amp with a Jackhammer Marshall foot pedal.

    Support:
    No problems yet.

    Overall:
All in all, it's the best and it cannot be beat. I wouldn't mind if it had a master volume knob built into it but I am still very happy with it. It is fun to crank it to 5 because you can feel it,and it makes a cd skip while it's in the player.I wouldn't lose it because I would cry.If it was stolen I would have to take out another loan to buy the amp again. Ican't complain because I am very happy with it.

"This is the amp that will end your search for great tone."

    Feature:
This is a bare bones amp. No need for distortion pedals. ( Mine all now reside in a box) The overdriven power stage sound is best on it's own.

    Quality:
    The construction is solid Marshall.

    Value:
I paid a littl over $1000 for the amp and I think it is worth every penny. I'd pay it again for another one.

    Desirability:
Nothing looks better than a plexi in dimmed lighting.

    Sound:
The SLP 1959 has the perfect balance of frequencies for my style of playing which ranges from Zepplin and Cream to AC/DC and Def Leppard. This amp can cover all the bases with minimal time spent dialing in the tone controls. Most tones are achieved with just one setting of the controls on the amp and the rest done from the guitar. This amp responds WELL to playing dynamics and touch. I like the idea of minimum tone controls. I think it lets the amp sound it's best without a lot of circuitry and components for your guitars signal to have to go through.

    Overall:
this is the best Marshall I have owned and if I get another amp it will be a plexi.

"Marshall amps by Michael age 14"

    Feature:
This product does not include accessories because it is modeled after a vintage amp, which didn't have any in the first place. This can give you much tone.

    Quality:
Marshall has been very famous for their quality British hand made amps in the past. The newer ones dont have the same sound because they are made by robots, so the sound resonates differently.

    Value:
Marshall amps are pricey, but everything you paid for is there.

    Desirability:
This product appeals to the classic rocker looking for that Hendrix/ Zeppelin/ Page/ Van Halen/ Oasis tone. If you are looking for more of a modern metal tone, you should look at maybe the AVTs.

    Sound:
put a patch cable in channel 1 #2 and channel 2 #1. Then, run your guitar through channel 1 #1 to get distortion at a lower volume level. (Usually you have to crank it up to get the sweet vintage crunch-tone of heavenly marshall heratige.)

    Support:
Since Marshall is a British company, the main factories are in Britain. But, there are many marshall technicians around in North America because marshall amps are so widely used.

    Overall:
THis amp was used by all the huge rock gurus and is still the best today. Marshall has an extensive line of products, so you can get the sound you're looking for. All the way from blues to heavy metal.
