"Best amp in the price range,"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Sound:
I have been playing guitar for over 40 years and in the past 20 I've been playing almost exclusivley acoustic, though I have an SG Standard, a Les Paul, and an ES-335. These days my primary acoustic guitars are Taylor 710, and a Martin DC 16GTE. I had been playing the acoustics through a few small pratice amps and my Marshall AVT 150. I finally decided to get a real acoustic amplifier for small gigs and acoustic/electric jams with freinds. I looked at the Roland, the Crates, and the Fishman, but none had as true reflection of what my guitars sound like than the Marshall. That was my goal to find an amp that would actually reflect what my guitars sound like and not need a lot of tweeeking to get a natural sound. The others I tried where flat in comparison and really not true to the ring of a nice acoustic guitar. I have been told I should have tried the Fender DSP 30, but for the money I am extremely happy with this small amp.
    Feature:
Only one thing missing that I noticed on another amp in the same price range is a delay. So I guess that might drop it to a 9 here
    Ease of Use:
Very simple to use even without looking at the manual.
    Quality:
Very solid construcction as all Marshalls and good looks.
    Manufacturer Support:
Having had four Marshall amps in the past I've never had to use customer support, so I;m guessing that I won't need to bother here either. But if I do I will update my review
    Value:
Honestly in the price range I don't think it can be beat, and I do not feel your paying for the Marshall name as you do in some other products.
    The Wow Factor:
Again after hearing it compared to several amps, and a few that cost as much as $200.00 more I think it's a very desireable amp
    Overall:
I'll probably keep this amp, and maybe buy another in the future, so I can have both guitars ready to go. What would lead me to buy another product? If I found something that sounds better. I bought this amp, because it was the most natural sounding acoustic amp I found after spending over two hours playing other amps. This amp brings out the best of my finger style material. If it where stolen I would probably buy another, but I would look around to be sure that there wasn't someting else that I thought reflected the sound of my guitars more accurately. What I like least about it? can't think of anything.

    "B-E-A-utiful"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Sound:
B-E-A-utiful, coming from a 'digital' amp to this preprocessed beauty has been an awesome and inspiring experience. Crisp, clean, and the feedback controls eliminate any of this kind whatsoever! The DI out is a great feat. too! Haven't gotten in loud enough to get it to chunk out -- as some reviews claim... but my ears can only take so much before they are gonna burst, and this amp could do it no problems I suspect!
    Feature:
Great built-in chorus, speed, reverb, channel controls, anti-feedback, monitor volume controls!
    Quality:
Tis' a beatiful acoustic amp, it has 'acoustic' written all over it (not really though), just has a nice temperate musician look to it. Sturdy, and I can definately travel with this one and not have to worry about it!
    Manufacturer Support:
I haven't had to get in touch with Marshall yet, but they're support crew is highly reputed amongst the industry..
    Value:
Buck for buck, the best you'll find!
    The Wow Factor:
Was a gift, but much more than I was expecting -- this was the amp I was drooling over at the store so I guess that clued the folks into what I 'really wanted' for x-mas!
    Overall:
I have no doubts that this will be with me as long as it lasts! Great features, no downfalls for my private sessions. Perfect for practice and small gigs. Has rich tone and great built in effects. I love it!
