"More than just"
Feature:Two pedals in one! You can use it in boost mode to overdrive your amp or pump up the signal through your effects chain.
Quality:
Solidly built and nice to look at! Only minor drawback is a black indicator line on a chrome knob, hard to see.
Value:
Excellent value for the money, quality construction, true bypass, and just sounds great!I like it better than the Boss Od, sounds like a more natural overdrive.
Desirability:
To me this is what a stompbox should look like. Solidly built, with curves and a sleek feel. Marshall made this one look like a winner!
Sound:
This pedal truly has a warm tube like sound that goes from subtle grit to classic overdrive. Excellent for blues and getting that "Santana" tone!Use with the Marshall Ed-1 Compressor to achieve the most tone and sweet sustain.
Support:
I have four Marshall pedals. I love'em! I've had two of them for over a year and no problems. So, I've never had to deal with the company.
Overall:
I'm extremely satisfied with this pedal.I have the Marshall Ed-1 compressor, two Supervibe's and now the Bluesbreaker. I'd replace any or all of them if anything were to happen. I feel their one of the best at creating interesting, and very useful effects; often combining two functions in one pedal.
