"Love it!"

Feature:
Clean/Crunch channel, OD1/OD2 channel, fx-chorus, delay, flange, chr/dly, seprate reverb, fx loop with front mix control knob.

Value:
Definitely worth the price. If something happened to mine, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Desirability:
Hey, it's a Marshall! Don't get much sexier than that.

Sound:
Clean channel is crystal clear with plenty of bite and punch. With the crunch button on you get a nice bluesy, ballsy overdrive. OD1/OD2 channel can get you just about any kind of heavy rock/metal sound you desire. I use a Boss DS-1 as a boost for a nice "Van Halen" type of tone! The fx are ok, the chr/dly combo is kinda ehh, but the rest are usable. Reverb is good with lots of room to play with.

Ease of Use:
Like any amp, you need to familiarize yourself with its characteristics. Play with the controls and you'll find the sound your looking for.

Support:
Haven't had to use them.

Overall:
I hate seeing all the negative comments about solid state amps not sounding like tube amps! NO DUH!!! That's like comparing a Ferrari to a VW Beetle! I've been playing for over 30 years and I've played lots of different amps, tube/ss/hybrid. As far as SS goes, this thing beats the hell out of any others I've played, Peavey, Crate, Fender.

"Very hot amp for the money!."

Feature:
I bought it used and got a Peavy one switch foot pedal with it.

Quality:
Bullet proof!.

Value:
I got a good deal so yes.

Desirability:
NC

Sound:
The sound is good. A little too trebly. As a result I send the signal from the emulated line out into a 1966 Fender Bassman normal channel. This warms the sound up quite well, so I get "My" sound as I owned a 50 watt Marshall tube amp in the mid 70's. The 50 watter was great inside, but outside was anemic sounding. (Compared to a 100 watt Fender Twim Reverb)

Support:
NC

Overall:
Until I can afford a Marshall 100 watt tube amp.

"Great when it works."

Feature:
The guy before me kept the footswitch, thanks a lot. It has great Marshall distortion in OD1 and OD2, and the crunch on the clean channel is OK. The circuit board is cheesy, I had to replace the master volume control, it was scratchy beyond repair, and it turned out that the factory installed a C pot when it should have been a B pot.

Quality:
The already mentioned thin circuit board and failed pot don't impress me too much. I have spoken with service techs about this model and it seems it is prone to have the TDA 7294 amp module burn out, I've also seen numerous complaints of the main amp going dead while playing. It's that thingy in the back with the little fan that makes the funny noises when you start it up. I suspect fan failure causes this baby to overheat, and POOF!

Value:
Value is fair, it would be pretty good if the thing was reliable.

Desirability:
Even with all the aforementioned problems, I still like this head because it has great sound and it's light. Anyone want to buy a BV120H? They make great boat anchors!

Sound:
This is the best sounding solid state head I've played. It captures the classic Marshall sound better than amp modelers or hybrids (Valvestate etc.). I like the sound. Effects are moderate, but usable, the control mixing two effects is not very good.

Support:
You have to really look to find service, I do my own.

Overall:
I will keep fixing it until I can't get parts, or I find something as good or better and otherwise comparable.

Feature:
needs more on the foot switch

Sound:
foot conrol for overdrve 1 and 2, this would make the amp more versitile and 100% better for gigs which is where i found that this woukd be a useful atribute the amps already ontstanding performance.
