    "I struck it gold"

    Feature:
First of all, the effects sound awesome! However, it only came with four: chorus, reverb, delay, and flang. But that's why people invented effects pedals. Anyways, for the money, this amp is loaded. A CD in jack, a jack for foot-switching channels, the four GREAT sounding effects, separate volume controls for both overdrive and clean, and the tons of tone controls all make this amp way worth the money.

    Quality:
Um... it's Marshall. What can I say?

    Value:
A Marshall for less than $300 dollars that's big and loud enough to play small gigs with? HECK YAH THE VALUES GOOD!!!

    Desirability:
All black with the brushed bronze control panel and awesome looking Marshall signiature. It's purty dang attractive.

    Sound:
The sound on this amp is awesome. The amount that you can personalize its sound is amazing and its depth, bass, and clearity are all excellent. Its clean drive is crystal clear and has some of the best tone that I have heard in an amp under $300. And as far as the overdrive... INSANE!!! It has THE BEST sounding overdrive I have heard in a combo amp and you can personalize anywhere from metal to blues, and from country to screaming lead. I have owned this amp for around 6 months and so far it hasn't let me down. Also, as of now, I do not own any effects pedals and it sounds wicked. I can't wait until I get a wah pedal, then I can truly open Pandora's box!

    Ease of Use:
I personally find this amp a breeze, however it does take time at first to figure out how to make it sound good with the many tone controls. Easy enough to learn in a couple hours though.

    Support:
Although I haven't had to deal with them (which says something for their product quality), I'm sure a company like Marshall has great service.

    Overall:
This will be my main amp for a LONG time. Or at least until I can afford a Marshall stack... Then it would become my main practice amp.

"30 watts of Marshall, bell clean and driven to be a star."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
A very useful feature on the Marshall is a level control for the effects. You can dial up the effect volume as a separate thing from the amp volume.

    Quality:
A nice looking amp,I just stood there staring at it for a while after I turned it off. This amp is intended to be a pratice amp 30watts. This baby is hot,it's really better than what you may think of as a pratice amp.

    Value:
An excellent value. An excellent sound, amazing.

    Desirability:
I personally am trying to get a sound, or combination of sounds. My main influences are Trower,Hendrix,P.Floyd. I am on a budget but when I saw 30 watts of Marshall for under 300 dollars, I knew it would be worth it. I was right.

    Sound:
This thing sounds like a tube amp. I was all set to get blown out the window, but instead, I'm hearing every note, beautiful sound. I purchased the Marshall as an upgrade, and also to run stereo into my Fender Bullet 150. The Fender is sweet, but this thing (Marshall) makes me forget about stereo.I'm running a Strat with Digitech chorus,delay,phaser,DF-7 distortion. I can just turn it all off and run the amp straight, well, with a touch of onboard delay. Awesome Amp !!!

    Support:
I rated support a ten, but I have not been in contact with the company.

    Overall:
I think that I will have this amp for a long time. I cannot play good enough to go into the 100 watt range yet. In other words, It's ok to be a goof so long as nobody hears you. Then again, I can play pretty good. I would keep this amp no matter how good I get. This amp will help anyone learning because it is bell clean, any dropped notes will be obvious.

    "NOBODY DOES IT BETTER!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
The DFX on the amp are cool! I had a MXR Phase 90 and a MXR Chorus. These accurately reproduce those sounds. The Delay is nice to"thicken" things up. A separate Reverb would be nice. The FFD switch is unnessesary since the amp sounds like crap with it off. A better feature would be a channel 1/channel 2 selector for the effects. Also, I think it would sound better if the speaker had a closed back, like its big brothers.

    Quality:
It has no tubes. It won't overheat on a poorly ventilated stage. I don't have to add cooling fan like my old Marshalls. It probably won't often leave my study. It should last forever!

    Value:
Hey, this is a back stage amp, that could be a main amp in a small venue, for under $300 bucks. Try getting that sound out of something else.

    Desirability:
It's a Marshall! They are widely imatated by other manufacturers. There's a reason for that. They're beautiful! Even my friends that don't know the music business recognize it from music video. I doubt other amps can claim that, except maybe Fender.

    Sound:
Jim Marshall, you've done it again! I have been playing guitar for 36 years. For 30 of those years I have been using Marshall amps. I played in rock bands touring around the southeast in the Mid 70s to Mid 80s, from the time I was age 17 to 27. I played a 50 watt all tube head on an 8x10 cab(scooped & wide open)paired with 100 watt all tube on two 4x12 cabs (at about half volume). This amps recreates that sound without blowing the doors off of the house or breaking my back. I was prepared to be disappointed. MY SOUND out of a non-tube amp? You better believe it!

    Support:
Way back I did. They were very professional. I'm sure they still are.

    Overall:
For the purpose I bought it for, I doubt I will look any futher. My wife was worried when I got it. She just knew it was going to be TOO LOUD. The fact it has a headphone jack convinced her. The truth is I have yet to use headphones. The speaker has everything to do with the sound, and it reproduces it at such a low volume I don't need them. But I can shake the house if I want to, when I'm alone.

"Great amp with a great price."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Didn't come with any accessories but I like the options you have with both clean and overdrive.

    Quality:
Made very well. No scrathes. All the parts were intact and securley put onto the amp, nobs/cord.

    Value:
    Very good price.

    Desirability:
The amp has just the right amount of options for playing.

    Sound:
The sound of the amp was incredible. The digital effects are awesome. You can get a good clean sound or a good distorted sound.

    Support:
I haven't had to deal with the company yet but just from reading the manual they seem good.

    Overall:
If my amp were to break I would probably buy the same one or an upgrade of it like a Marshall MG50dfx or Marshall MG100dfx if I had the money.

"GREAT amp for PRACTICES and SMALL GIGS"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Nice features, I would like a few more effects though. but I do like the contour knob..

    Quality:
Quality is pretty good, I've dropped it a few times, and no dents or blemishes.

    Value:
Although the amp is a little overpriced in my opinion, I would still pay it because I know they have good support, and the sound quality is great.

    Desirability:
    AMP LOOKS GREAT!

    Sound:
the sound quality is great... but it isn't the loudest amp out there.

    Ease of Use:
easy to use, no learning curve

    Support:
My amp suddenly stopped working after i yanked the cord out of the input of my amp by accident, and I contacted them and they were great. A+ for support, they took my amp back with NO QUESTIONS and I got a brand new one with only 1 week turnaround.

    Overall:
The only things i don't like about this amp is it doesn't go SUPER LOUD, and there isn't A TON of effects, but that doesn't matter too much. Nevertheless, VERY GOOD practice amp, and good for small gigs

"Best little soldier in your arsenal of musical gear."

    Feature:
could use tremolo. The effects are great, awesome power for 30 watts.

    Quality:
It's a Marshall. That's about all you need to say. Very satisfied.

    Value:
I spend a lot of time in guitar stores andf try out a lot of different amps. It is well worth the going price and I don't think you will beat it.

    Desirability:
You can make something different but the style of a Marshall amp is always top of the line and very impressive.

    Sound:
I tried the others including some larger Marshall MG series amps and I think this one has the best overall sound. I play many styles and this little amp can do it all. From country to rock to everything in between.

    Support:
I think I will get many years of service out of this amp. I haven't had to do anything but use it. I play up to 3 or 4 hours a day and have put my other amps aside to enjoy the sound I get from this 30 watt champ.

    Overall:
I don't have any complaints and would be devastated if I lost it. I would go out and buy another one just like it.

    Marshall MG30DFX Customer Review

    Quality:
its a marshall so you know what your getting

    Value:
for $240 this Amp is a must have being how much you get. You get 4 Fx pedals built in so instead of spending more than $500 for the pedals plus get an amplifier and the cost of batteries or an adapter its all in one amp for about a quarter o what you would pay for everything seperatly

    Desirability:
this amp gives you a killer tone and Distortion only a Marshall can give
