"MOTU Poster Boy"
Feature:I've always wished DP had a highlight feature in its event list (like the now defunct StudioVision) that showed you which specific event was being sounded every instant.
Desirability:
So many features that it's a bit clunky
Sound:
Impeccable
Support:
Their line is busy a lot, and email support takes about a week. The session's over by then, isn't it?
Overall:
I'm hanging in there with MOTU for now. Just my hunch that if the MIDI interface (MTP/AV), sequencer (DP), audio interface (828), and sample software (Mach Five) come out of the same factory, chances are better that the project won't crumble from incompatibility issues. So for now, I'm the MOTU poster boy.
