Sound:

The first time I got to demo this pedal was at a music store and it was in the mxr display hooked into a small raven amp with a 5inch speaker, as soon as I turned on the fullbore that toy amp instantly became a beast. I could not believe what I was hearing. come x-mass time my ol lady got me one of these to put in my own rig ( 2 Marshall JCM 800 2203s and 4 4x12 Marshall cabs), my marshalls have never sounded so destructive and there is no distorted tone that is unobtainable. bottom line if your a metal head buy this pedal no matter what your rig is.

Feature:

you got your basic full on pre-amp controls to shape things up, a scoop switch to instantly add even more gut busting crunch and the icing on the cake...a built in noise gate that can put a stop to anything but your playing. my rig has never been this quiet except when its off.

Ease of Use:

If you can set up your amps tone you can do this.

Quality:

solid, built like a frigging tank.

its uncle Jimmy any worries and he always take care of ya.

Value:

for the price MXR might as well be giving you this pedal, nothing in the market can compete above or below this price.

Dude, this thing is beyond sexy.

I think the pedal will stay in my rig beyond my own life time, when my grand kids are knocking the dust off gramps rig 70 yrs from now they will still step on the pedal and be blown away.
