"I absolutely recommend that people NOT PURCHASE this particular product."
Feature:It supposedly has squelch control.
Quality:
The unit looks like a cheap piece of equipment. Parts don't fit together precisely.
Value:
It doesn't matter how cheap something is if it unusable.
Desirability:
Unit looks very cheap.
Sound:
The sound quality of this system is really terrible in that, although the signal is strong & clear, the reproduction of the voice is very bassy & distorted in a way that makes it sound about as good as two shoe boxes connected by a string.
Ease of Use:
The unit is easy to set up.
Support:
I haven't tried contacting Nady yet...but I certainly will!
Overall:
I can't return or exchange this unit but so far, it is totally unusable. So that's $90 wasted and it will have to be replaced immediately.

"Nady Encore II offers a lot of features for a low price"
Feature:Receiver has RF as well as audio level indicators. Balanced XLR out option is nice addition as well as transmitter and receiver volume controls. DigiTRU Diversity stops "dropouts" compared to my Audio Tech VHF unit.
Quality:
Rating reflects quality for ecomony VHF class. Battery cover can spring open when changing battery showing transmitter insides "Made in China" quality looks nice but not for rugged use.
Value:
The DigiTRU receiver diversity, balanced XLR, low self noise and the included carry case make for an excellent value for the money.
Desirability:
The RF level meters and DigiTRU receiver diversity helped the sound tech solve receiver location and dropout problems. The unit has a good low signal to noise level, helps to keep the sound transparent.
Sound:
Very clean and clear, hardly any hiss added by receiver. Rating reflects performance against other ecomony VHF units.
Support:
Not Applicable, no need to call company
Overall:
The biggest factor was the DigiTRU receiver to minimize dropouts. I needed a second inexpensive unit to my multichannel UHF. The inability to change VHF channel (in my case channel B 185.15 MHz) restricts me using it in my local area where there is no TV channel 8
