Feature:
The blue LCD backlight is what sold me on this table. I was lucky that it performs so well. The str8 arm tracks better than the S-curve arm. The height adjustment capability is the bizomb. As a hobby DJ, I tend to a little heavy-handed at time. The interchangable pitch and speed mechanisms are fantastic especially for those who use a battle style set-up.

Quality:
The TTX is a heavy, heavy piece of equipment, which means it's not a piece of crap. I've only had it for a short while so I can't comment on longevity, yet!!

Value:
A lot more for the money as compared to the Tech 1200s (two tone arms, a pretty lite, bpm counter, key lock, interchangable parts). A friend of mine, who is also a hobby DJ, swears by the 1200, but he's slowly moving toward the TTX because he realized the money/product advantage that it has.

Desirability:
Very gorgeous gadget. The blue light is very appealing especially to female admirers. I did a party on campus at UMBC for Halloween and almost all the girls wanted to see the blue light. I can't wait to get the other TTX, then I'll have two blue lights and double the number of women who approach me because of it.

Sound:
I have turn the gain down on its channel to match the output of my other turntable. My other table is a cheaper model Numark, but I'm saving up for another TTX.

Support:
Haven't had to use the service as of today. I hope that it's okay.

Overall:
I expect this piece of equipment to last a long time. Once its longevity is determined, I really believe Tech 1200s will become "old school." I've only had it for about six months (with no problems), but I feel it should be the industry standard.

"Compared to..."

Feature:
Right now there are more things on this turntable that djs/producers desire most. vestax offers the most features but nurmark brought more versitility to club/studio enviroments.

Quality:
Probably the only dissapointing feature is the tonearm light. Its not very bright for those dark, hole in the ground playing spots. However, there are other lights availible online that are compatable with the turntable.

Value:
Best features-price ratio.

Desirability:
This is an awesome set of sexy decks. even if they didnt look hot, they still by far out peform the compitition.

Sound:
probably the best equipment to get for your studio. I use these with the numark ppd-01 mixer, (1) pioneer djm-500 cd player, soundblaster audigy digital interface, and cakewalk home studio 2004. (wish i had sonar 3 producer edition.) the recordings sound better with better cables and the least amount of connections. The analog switch makes those club subs pound!!! -'couse this varys with your needles. I use ortofone dj with the strait arm.

Support:
after a few months owning the decks the cool electric blue lcd backgroung light went out. They told me they would do it for free and I would have got it fixed, but i didn't want to pay s/h charges to have em' replace it.

Overall:
i'll probably get somthing else 5-7 years down, if numark decides to do an upgrade on this model.

Feature:
The pitch correction device and the 78 rpm feature on not useful in my situation

Quality:
The ttx1s are built solid, my only true complaints about the turntables are the interchangeable pitch fader and control board, when I switched the components around I have a difficult time putting the last screw, resulting a in a stripped screw. The other thing I would like to see is an improve light on the deck, the standard light doesn't offer good lighting across your vinyl for night time applications.

Numark has brought the term sex appeal to a new level by offering products looking different than the standard competitor.

Truly i can say I have contacted Numark about the difficulties I had, I simply mentioned suggestions about the lighting and user components.

Overall:
I would like to supplement what I have. The way I see it, versatility makes for a better DJ.. I would the Vestax PDX2300

these r grate makes tech's look waaaay outdated i could not wait for them to hit da sto' but when they did i had the loot but it was a waiting list and when i got them unreal the best pitch i ever used and the bpm feature never fails practicallt mixes for you but the pitch lock ehh doesnt sound to good way too loud but the reverse and start up times are truly devaststing loe em using ppd01 now getting that new tascam after christmas and will be the best dj set up ever thinking of getting em do it do it now you will $#&* yourself the way these things work i have converted some tech users to these and they cant believe how much better thi pitch holds gett em

these tables have every feature that a dj needs

they are priced just right

Sound:
these tables have great sound quality but with all great tables you need top end cartiges

Feature:
A plastic 45 rpm center adaptor. For me, to lock the tune is the most useful feature.

Quality:
The finish es impecable. The motor feels quit strong and durable. Maybe I will buy another one for my sons.

Value:
Yes, it is worth the price (I paid).

I had to dispose off the numark cs1 cartridge. A).-Trackability of the tone arm: this turntable-arm system can trace a record decently with .75 grams vertical tracking force aplied using a Shure M97xe made in Mexico. With Shure M44-7h: 1 gram. M44g: 1.5 grams. !!! With these Shure cartridges counterwight setting is no problem with groovless record. B.-Why the counterweight is not labeled in grams? I do not know. What is the mv output using the line output? 160 mv plus minus 30 (tech suppport people from Numark) what
