Style of Music: country, old school Dylan and Irish guitar tunes.

Sound:

Being new to playing guitar, I wanted a durable and playable guitar. The ovation Koa gives more than that. It is an Ovation which means a great guitar, but the Koa gives off a warm tone. Great for Dylan or Rolling Stones.

Feature:

The built in tuner is spot on and the EQ gives you room for playing on many levels.

Ease of Use:

I love the action and string spacing. For some reason, the strings just fit my fingers perfect, no they are not stubby, but I do cheat with a two finger A.

Quality:

I use an SKB humidifier and this guitar holds it tune perfectly. The finish is flawless and the neck action is smooth with plenty of room to play. You do not have to try hard to play bar cords or slash cords.

Manufacturer Support:

I have worked with Same Day Music for sometime and they are great.

Value:

If you want a guitar that gives you warm tones, then the Koa is the one to pick. If you want a guitar that if it gets bumped you will not have to cry, then the Ovations Series is the one. I have played side by side with my buddies Scheckter and even he likes my KOA better.

The Wow Factor:

Beautiful wood. The picture does not give you the truth. Each one is unique in the wood pattern, so your will not be like any other.

Overall:

The case is made to fit this guitar and the guitar will be one that you want to play each day.
