"Good mid-level drums"

Feature:
The best part about this kit is the hardware package and the mounts. i'm looking into slick nuts for the boom and ride stands and will use my Pearl mounts on my next kit.

Quality:
I like the fact that this is a "beater kit". I'm not worried about getting it bumped around. It's got a red wine wrap that sparkles when lit with cool black hard ware... good for live with the right heads & cymbals. Keep your maple/birch for recording.

Value:
I happened to overpay for this kit...but am happy with the results because export is a good mid level drum set for intermediates to gigging pros. find your best price and nabb this kit under a grand.

Desirability:
the new ex 825 colours are very appealing with the new black hardware. The shells are heat compressed just as the masters'series are, and with new features and a sturdy stand package

Sound:
I am using this kit for practice use and possibly some small gigs. the steel snare drum i'm using with this set really sounds great and have even swiched the lugs to sonically match the sounds. The stock heads suck but i've changed them since my purchase...the shells could have been warmer/sharper with some maple & birch plies.

Support:
The hardware is strong and sturdy, i'm pretty sure the warranty covers for 3 years which is often covered for higher end kits.

Overall:
I've already purchased a new kit that will share alot of hardware fom this kit. As well, i am keeping this kit for live shows because of its great looks and finish against blemish and bumps. If misplaced or stolen, i would buy a birch kit in the session series, a nice tobacco finish with a coat of laquer.

Feature:
I've got to say, or the price, the hardware on this is spot on. When I bought my kit I needed an extra boom stand, so I bought quite a good Big Dog stand. The stands which come with the kit far outshine this for stability etc. Also the Hi-Hat stand and bass pedel are top dog too. Basicly this kit's got the sort of hardware you'd be happy with if you paid twice the money for a kit

Quality:
For the price i promise you will not find a better drum kit. In fact you could pay more on other nasty stuff like Sonar or Yamaha and it probably wouldn't be as well whought out and put together. Watch out if you get black hardware though My tom holders and floor tom legs have scratched a little quicker than I would have liked them to. But they still look great.

Value:
again, for the price you'll not find better.

Desirability:
It's a pearl!. I've got a black kit with Black hardware and Zildjians. It's about as Rock as you can get.

Sound:
Bass drum and Toms are spot on. Still playing with the snare to get the desired sound, but I'm sure this is only a matter of time. If you really want to make it sound great stick some Remo Pinstripes on. The skins it comes with are okay but Remo's make it sound that little bit better

Overall:
I'm gonna give this a 9. Only because there are better kits out there. But you'll be paying twice for them what you'll pay for this. As an aside, those people who've rated this kit as a 3 or a 4 overall are probably kids who don't know a lot and think that you have to pay thousands to get a good kit. Unless you're a full on pro this is the sort of kit that will see you well for a long time

"pearl export, the best standard kit in the world ever"

Feature:
the hardware is very good,its sturdy and if its looked after then it will last for years. ive had my export for 6 or 7 years and the hardware is just as good as when i brought it.if i could change anything it would be to issue the kit as standard with two angle boom stands instead of just one.

Quality:
these kits are made really well the finish is realy good and shines up really well. they are also so reliable i couldnt play anything else but pearl because they are so constant and look and sound so good.

Value:
these kits are much better value than say the lower end premier kits or yamaha.

Desirability:
they really look good on stage or in the studio they just make you want to sit behind them and play them all day.

Sound:
the sound of these kits are bloody amazing the quality you get for your money is staggaring.my drums are slightly mellow but at the same time they have great atack.it all depends on the heads that you are using.you can get what ever sound you are looking for with these drums by trying out different heads.

Overall:
the only thing ill be searching for is a higher end of the market pearl kit. a masters or a masterworks, they are so good.

Quality:
the finish is amazing. the toms are easy to adjust. i will never sell this kit

worth more than the selling price. the kit is value for money. u get more than what u pay for

great colours. great look, brilliant

the tone and overall sound of my toms and bassdrum is amazing.

Probably one of the best sets you can get in the price range, and maybe top 10 in all

Good sound for any kind of music, the snare is good but it could be better, throw a pillow in the bass and it sounds kick ass

Feature:
the feel of the pedals were not rigid , but smooth and predictable,a nice option to have if you count on speed in your drumming.

Quality:
finish is crisp, shells of drums are sturdy and durable,and the heads are easily tuned to perfection.

Value:
good price for a great product.

Desirability:
It's beautiful , sleek and powerful.

Sound:
deep,pounding ,rich bass sound,also a great high end pitch as well,an all around masterpiece by a company that only produces masterpieces.my musical tastes are varied as are the sounds that I can get from this kit.

Overall:
long lasting fun and durable to the end,a fantastic piece of musical art.
