"A beast of an amp, metal or otherwise"
Feature:The built in noise-gate is a great idea, the volume controls on the effect send/return is also very good. It's got almost all you can possibly need in an amp. No effects though, but what the hell; external effects is all that much better anyway, right?
Quality:
This is a genuine amp, not you "let's through something together from theese nuts and bolts we have lying around and cover them with nice plastic" type of amps that you can stumble upon.
Value:
I got a nice deal on my amp, so I'd say there's great value.
Desirability:
Extremely good looking piece of equipement.
Sound:
It's got everything from raw metal mayhem to emotional soft tones. It's the amp to tear your heart out or sear your soul.
Overall:
This will probobly have me going for years and years, it's just that good!

"Kick ass deal!"
Feature:Everything I ever need. If you need reverb, get a rack mount unit.
Quality:
The thing is rock solid.
Value:
$1200? It blows everything else away.
Desirability:
Now!!!!
Sound:
This head has it all. Perfect clean, and more gain than you could ever want. I am going to be replacing my Marshall JCM800 2210 head with this. The JSX can do any Marshall, Mesa, or Fender sound.
Overall:
I've been searching for a long time for something to replace my 1989 Marshall and this is the real deal!

"This amp really does it all."
Feature:Three channels and a master volume make for great flexibility, while the presence and resonance controls allow you to tweak the sound for the cab you'r using.
Quality:
No problems. Looks great and is built like a tank.
Value:
At 120 watts, three channels, and tubes, this amp is a very good value.
Desirability:
Just look at it... it's the ampequivalent of a BMW Z-4... come try me!
Sound:
You can do it all with this amp. The clean channel is really clean and works extremely well with any stomp box you'd care to add. The crunch channel is Marshallesque and the lead channel (Ultra) is in a gain class of its own. The tone controls on the clean channel are passive and do their job nicely. The tone oontrols on the crunch and ultra channels, however, are active; adding up to 12db boost to the frequency. With judicious use of the tone controls and your guitar volume control, you can coax almost any sound out of this amp. Be careful with the master volume; this bad boy gets very loud! Unlike the XXX series (which I DO like), the crunch and ultra channels are voiced quite differently, giving you a wider spectrum of sound possibilities.
Support:
I called to ask some questions before I bought it, and I received prompt, excellent help.
Overall:
I've gone through a lot of amps (Marshall, Fender, Vox), but I think this one will do the trick.
