Sound:
I am a drummer who switched to bass and wanting to further my songwriting skills. And i have tried several before i purchased this Peavey. I love it!!!it isnt too heavy like spector which i have owned and sent back for weight! I am about 175 and can handle weight but have smaller hands and have had nothing but great response and new strings will make this bass thump and it gets killer sounds and has good balance with its neck and head..I have the see through black one and i play death metal style and this bass is road worthy and tough even though it feels light.i think this bass is the best i have owned and the price is just awesome..I use SWR stacks with 4004 heads and mxr smart gate and mxr distortion m-80. This bass kills!!its light and has held up for a long time!I have had no problems and love it. Ive had spector, ibanez and esp they are good but for this price this bass is just as good!!and sounds even heavier and looks really nice!!
Feature:
came as is and just like others basses.. never needed any work so far and using d addario light guage strings i have not had to worry at all about tuning..even though i check..I love its light weight. i also like the way its smooth neck blends in with the head and balances it very well. great for speed metal and real heavy long sets!! and i am pleased with the comfort of this bass compared to some other heavy ass basses i have played..sometimes the weight of other brands is just rediculous!!
Quality:
seems to be made really well and i have had no problems in a years time..It has knobs that are rubber and seem so fragile but havent been an issue..finish is really cool and i like the color see through stain..wood is light and sound is really good!!

Value:
for 300 or so dollars you will be hard pressed to find a better sound and look than this bass..i would like to have another one for color. the colors are really eye catching...

its really pretty!!youll like the color and style!!!and its really lighter than most other basses..smaller statured bass players will love it!!!
Overall:
will play and buy another if it holds up the way mine has!!
