"Fanfreakintastic Amp. for the money."
Feature:Great features, as I said, very flexible sound capabilities. I do wish it came with the footswitch though. The jack for the add on speaker cabinet is very nice, as well as the Class A, A/B control on the back.
Quality:
This is my third Peavey in my life, the first being a Backstage 30 back in the 70's, The Valve King looks like it is as well built as I could ask for. Course I don't think I'll be lugging it to any gigs, (I don't play that well, Yet)
Value:
At 429 here at Same Day, it was a few hundred less than the Fender Hod Rod and sports 10 more watts to boot. Awesome value, I couldn't have asked for a better amp for the price.
Desirability:
Ok I'm not gonna date the thing, it's an amp, however if I was a Guitar I would constantly be trying to plug into it. I personally like the retro look with the winged Peavey logo.
Sound:
I have a Peavey Rage 158 trans tube which was ok for a while as I am not a great player, yet, I have played on Fenders, Marshalls, and others, this Amp kicks butt, I think it sounds better than the Marshall (solid state) and just as sweet as the Fender Hot Rod. Very flexible sound abilities. I have decided to pump it through my Boss OS2 effects though.
Ease of Use:
Plug in and tweek to your liking and blow the fur off your dog.
Support:
Not had to Deal with them, I just got it this morning and it is in beautiful shape. Kudos to Peavey for good packaging.
Overall:
I will probably be satisfied for quite a while. When I do get better I think this Amp will have all the power and sound quality I will need. I might add an extra speaker cabinet later. And a foot switch.

"BUY IT NOW"
Feature:Wish it came with the footswitch.
Quality:
This product is rock solid and could take a beating, definetly road worthy. Has everything mounted safely. The tubes have sturdy casings over them and don't look like they are going to go anywhere or break anytime soon.
Value:
Awsome for the price, especially for an all tube amp.
Desirability:
It's not as sexy as a Marshall but it has it's own look. Nice classic black finish and parts that complement each other.
Sound:
Comes with great tubes (3 X 12AX7EH). Can't really improve the sound everything you need is there and it all sounds amazing.
Ease of Use:
This amp is nice and basic. Has a great option to get a lush range of sounds from class A/B to A amp sounds. It has all the normal controls you would expect from an amp and couldn't be easier.
Overall:
I don't think I will be needing to buy another amp for a long time. Has great tones at a great value and is something that will be present at all my gigs.
