"dissappointed"

Sound:

I dont know if this amp got jacked up being shipped, but I am sooo bummed out... I ordered this amp expecting a good heavy metal sound but I can not get it...I am playing with a jackson dkmg and I can get the overdrive, but when I try to get that palm muting raw heavy metal sound it just sounds dry and flat... I thought my cable might be bad so I bought a new 50 dollar cable and it didnt change anything... also when I turn the amp on it makes a horrible humming sound for a few seconds then faids away...

Feature:

lots of different combinations of sounds to choose from...

Ease of Use:

its not that hard to figure out... just click the knob to enter edit mode...

Quality:

I put a five because it was shipped in a box with 8 cardboard bumpers on the corners... no styrofoam or any protective packaging... other than that the control knobs seem good quality...

Manufacturer Support:

I talked to peavey about the problem I was having with getting a good heavy metal sound... they were nice and they walked me through a set up over the phone and I played it over the phone but all they could reccommend was getting a new cable or upgrading....

Value:

I feel I wasted my money...

The Wow Factor:

since I am dissapointed I dont give this a good score... I wish I would have got a marshall instead...

Overall:

Not to be negative but I will not buy anything from peavey again...
