Feature:
The XLR-1/4" inputs are very nice and super handy. Mic preamps sound very good (especially compared to the Behringer mixer I was using). Firebox offers +48V phantom power for those large diaphragm condenser mics. Comes with software mixer and some other cool options to tweak it just the way you like. Head phone jack can be turned up LOUD! I usually turn it like a 5th of the way up. Half way would be BLARING. MIDI is nice and sounds great to me.
Quality:
This thing is sturdy. It's all metal case with solid knobs. I think I'll use this Firebox for a LONG time.
Value:
Definitely worth the money! Having bought it, I would NOT go with anything else in the price range.
Sound:
The Firebox has great quality sound! I love it! Much better than I was used to with my stock motherboard soundcard on my VAIO. The firewire connection works perfectly with very fast communication between the firebox and the computer, so there can be almost zero latancy. I use it for recording at home with acoustic/electric guitar and a Rode NT1000 (Excellent mic by the way) both of which sound great through the firebox.
Ease of Use:
Four knobs and a phantom power button...pretty simple to me. You just have to install the driver first, plug it in, and it's good to go!
Support:
Never had to deal with them.
Overall:
Overall, I am completely satisfied with the Firebox and couldn't ask for anything better for the price.

"Waste of money!!"
Feature:Cubase LE.
Quality:
I liked how compact it was, but I didn't care for the sound I had to sacrifice.
Value:
It wasn't really worth what I paid.
Desirability:
It looks nice, but that is about it.
Sound:
The recordings I made with my condensor microphone were far from perfect. I could hear pops every couple of seconds. I changed the settings to no avail. I hooked up my keyboard and the midi was aweful, no matter what latency I had set, there was still a long delay.
Support:
I didn't care to use support.
Overall:
I am going to replace this product asap. I cannot deal with pops, and less than satisfactory midi performance.
