Dont listen to what anybody says. i bought this despite the review here and i dont regret it one bit. its the best for the money no matter what anyone says

Feature:

out of this world. 8 ins, 8 outs, phantom power selectable to every 2 tracks and zero latency.

Ease of Use:

works perfectly with my mac once set up

Quality:

built to mount on a rack and lasts forever if it is. sound qualtiy is amazing.

Manufacturer Support:

never needed it but i hear presonus is great

Value:

a little pricey, but for the 500 you do really get an amzing piece of equipemtn. its the HEART and BRAINS of my studio.

PreSonus FireStudio Project FireWire Interface Customer Review

Sound:

I can't get the fleeping thing to work. I can only get it to record one channel at a time. Recording multiple channels gets me multiple tracks of the same track. I have tried it with a PC XP and a Mac Tiger OSx.4. I have tried the Firestudio Project with Cubase LE and Cubase 4 Essential. Money down the rat hole; a ripoff.
