"QSC K12's changed my life..."

Sound:
I recently bought a pair of QSC K12's after reading a lot of positive online reviews, and WOW! I don't know how I ever made it without them. I've had some many compliments about how I've got the cleanest, clearest sound I've ever had. The first night I took them out, I ran them without a sub, and still, these things had plenty of that chest thumping good sound that I've been looking for. But what if you need more thump? You can switch it into "deep mode" which will add that low end you need for small club shows. I've been made into a believer, these speakers are amazing and I will continue to sing their praises.
Feature:
As far as features goes, it's a powered speaker. It does what most newer powered speakers do. It will give you a option for "vocal" enhanced settings, or "normal" (which is what I find the best sounding, IMHO) and you have a "deep mode", which when playing break music through them, they sound great on deep mode. I also like the blue LED in the front which, I keep on the "limit" option, so if I walk to the front of the house while my band is soundchecking from stage, I can see if our gear is peaking out.
Ease of Use:
Setup is a breeze, but keep in mind I'm just using the pair of K12's as mains. So it's just three XLR's for me. One from the board, to the first K12, then jump to the second K12. Wham bam thank you ma'am, they're done.
Quality:
I can't really comment too awful much on the quality, I mean, they appear to be high quality, but, I've only used them for a couple of shows. I did opt for the cases, because I'm really into keeping my gear clean and looking nice. I've read on other forums that the K12's scratch easily, so this might be something worth splurging on in the future.
Manufacturer Support:
If you get online at the QSC site, you can sign up for a 6 year warranty, and in my book, that's about as good as you can get. As for Same Day Music, when I first hooked up these speakers, one of the 12's wasn't working at all. The horn was in perfect working condition, but the 12 was non-functional. As soon as it happened I called Same Day Music, and they were totally understanding, and they quickly emailed me a return number and a print out for UPS so I wouldn't have to pay any shipping and handling. As soon as they scanned the package at UPS, Same Day Music had another speaker on it's way. I recieved many email updates as to what part of the return procedure my package was in. Great service Same Day Music!
Value:
I really don't know how well a product like this will keep it's value. About the time I ordered the K12's, I'd already noticed the KW12's. I've also noticed a lot more companies coming out with higher wattage, small package systems, like the new JBL PRX are 1000W, the new Peavey Impulse are 1,200W and theres even a new Yamaha that's 1,300. But with the experience I've had with QSC power amps in the past, I'm sure this one will stand up through the test of time, and the wear of the road. I don't think much about the value of an item, I bought it because I want/need it, and I will take care of it so it will perform day in and day out. Love my QSC's.
The Wow Factor:
It's a really nice sleek looking speaker. It's got a really nice metal grille and the blue LED in the front is a nice addition, especially since it can serve different functions. It's pretty lightweight for what it is too, so I think the "I want it" factor is straight 10's for me, I mean, after all, I wanted it enough to buy it!
Overall:
I expect to be satisfied with my K12's for a long time. I can't stress enough though, the importance of getting soft shell cases for them. I don't know how many times I've seen someone get brand new shiney gear, and 5 gigs later it looks like it's been on the road with the Grateful Dead. I'm pretty much gonna ride my K12's till the wheels fall off, and since QSC makes the 6 year warranty available, I know I've got at least 6 years of rocking to look forward to with these speakers!

I own 2 qsc active subs ( 15in w/700 cont.watts)-they complement the K12 so well-i have called company and rec'd call back next day answering my question-none of my QSC gear has ever let me down (can't say that for my MACKIE 450V2s)
Overall:
definitely the best clear and full sound for the weight-nobody can do it better-and a 6 year warranty blows away the competition. (Don't come crying to me when your (mackie lower priced)gear lets you down on a important gig)

"Overpriced and bad sound"
Sound:
I bought the QSC K12 and Mackie SRM450v2. I placed them side by side and ran tests ranging from simple microphones, MP3 player, keyboard to a complete band sound.
You will be disappointed. First of all K12 are NOT 1000W. That’s a marketing lie. I spoke to their support an the speakers have two (2) not bridged 500W amps, so at the best you will get 500W at Clip level power.
For my test I had my mixer set to flat and speaker level set to unity (0).
No comparison. Mackie’s had a much cleaner an fuller sound.
K12 were a bit tighter, but no definition for mids and highs, even though they have a dedicated 500W amp.
K12’s look nice and are light, but for the money the sound was bad.

EQ would have been a better feature than two channel levels

Took me two weeks to get a call back
