"You've dreamed of running two heads into one cab? Finally, this baby delivers!"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Sound:
Sound quality is very good. I was expecting to pick up a little noise or maybe hum and have to use the built in ground lift. Nope - it's a very quite unit and exceptionally transparent.
Feature:
It does what it says. It allows you to switch between two separate tube guitar amp/heads into ONE cab. Yes, that's right ONE cab. I run Triaxis and Mesa 20/20 amp with an MPX-1 in the effects loop and a few pedals into a 2x12 recto cab with a GCX switcher. I've been wanting to incorporate my Dual Rectifier into my live system for a long time. This pedal allows me to do just that.
Quality:
Heavy construction. Seems very road worthy. Nice jacks in an out. Doesn't make any loud clicks or pops when switching.
Manufacturer Support:
I emailed them when the product first came out with some questions and they responded fairly quickly. So far so good.
Value:
Yes, this product had me smilling all thru the gig. I can't wait to get on stage again and know that I have all of my favorite tones at my side without having multiple cabs. I don't normally write reviews, but I buy a lot of gear, this pedal had me smiling and people walking up to me asking - "whoa! what did you do differently?'
The Wow Factor:
It's a pedal that's a switcher. Not really sexy - it's more of a utrility. But if you need it - then you won't care as long as it does what it says.
Overall:
I think this is the answer to my prayers in many ways. I checked out some of the competitors pedals and switchers and this one just made the most sense. And Radial stuff is built to last. I tour a ton so quality is important to me. Once this thing is racked up in my pedal tray it's never going to come out!
