"The Best Distortion/Overdrive Pedal - Period!!!"
Sound:
The design of this pedal is startling - it is honestly impossible to get a bad sound. The Gain A circuit is like the ultimate distortion pedal - a mix of Old school Rat and a MI Crunch Box - Gain B is the perfect overdrive - part original TS808, part Cusack screamer - Either circuit is fantastic on it's own - two world class pedals in one box - but the real kicker is being able to blend the circuits together........you can create your own sound that is impossible to recreate with out this pedal. The harmonics that are created as you blend the two circuits are awesome and totally original - it stacks beautifully with other pedals and is surprisingly quiet - I could go on for days but the best way to to explain how good this pedal is - is to go and buy one your self - I was lucky enough to get one of handful made for testing (I am in NZ where Red Witch resides) - but they are available in stores in a couple of weeks ,
Feature:
Comes in it's own denim bag - hand signed by the master pedal builder himself. - played through a 73 Tele Thinline.
Ease of Use:
Good instruction manual - but the pedal is pretty intuative and there's some good demo's on the Red Witch site
Quality:
seems a very solid construction -seems bulletproof - True bypass, high-end switches........
Manufacturer Support:
Unknown but comes with a lifetime warranty so they must be confident of the product - reviews on other Red Witch pedals seem to echo their reliability.....
Value:
$249Us is a steal when you realise what you've actually bought
The Wow Factor:
Looks as good as it's sounds!!!
Overall:
This pedal is as groundbreaking as anything I've seen - sounds fantastic at any setting and makes any amp sound good - (although it makes my UK AC15TB sound alot better than my mates Asbton 30w SS Combo) - use good gear wherever possible!!!!!!!!
