""Incredible""
Feature:Super cool features. It's got the low roll-off at 40, 80, or not at all. The pad switch for 0dB, -5dB, or -10dB really helps for keeping your levels under control. Because of this mic's sensitivity and polar pattern settings, you can create ENDLESS tones by placement and polar pattern choices. I hardly use any EQ in the mix with this! It s very bright--great for vocals, even.
Quality:
Sounds great. Built tough. Sleek look. Can't beat the tone and clarity, nor can you compare it to any other mic in its price range. Great for just about ANYTHING acoustic.
Value:
For the price, this mic is INCREDIBLE. Pick yourself up an RNP or some other nice preamp to go with it, and you've got a SWEET sound.
Desirability:
Looks sleek and "advanced" almost. So many choices on the mic itself drew me in.
Sound:
Awesome sound! Crisp, clean, clear. Works brilliantly with acoustic instruments, strings, horns, and woodwinds alike. Sounds awesome on a guitar amp, especially on clean.
Ease of Use:
Simple. Plug it in and enjoy!
Support:
No problems whatsoever!
Overall:
For the price, you can't go wrong. I want to get another one so I can set up a Blumein Array or just XY. Super versatile mic. Incredible sound. Tough construction. The trusted RODE Name. Perfect mic for you.
