"You Are Going to L-O-V-E this thing!"

Feature:
The Fantom is a well constructed machine. Its layout is "user friendly." Like any piece of equipment with multiple controls, you will have to spend some time with it, but it will be time well spent and well rewarded.
Quality:
It's a Roland. Enough said.
Value:
Well, when you get up past two thousand dollars I guess most folks start to think about WANT vs. NEED, even so the sound quality and overall performance of the Fantom can cause WANT and NEED to sort of get blurred . . . the musician will be able to justify the expense of the Fantom when considering the Workstation's "abilities." It stands tall against any other workstation available . . . at most any price.
Desirability:
Again . . . its a Roland. It's lines . . . color . . . and layout all exemplify the handiwork of skilled craftsmen and brillant engineers.
Sound:
The sound quality will be extremely hard to beat!!! Shop around . . . you'll see. Roland has a long-standing reputation for great sound quality in its keyboards . . . the Fantom series is no exception. The Fantom X7 is very responsive to touch, expressive in tone quality, and should readily adapt to any musical style. The Roland people did their homework when composing the sound options in this machine. If you like to edit then great . . . but necessary? Hardly!
Ease of Use:
The only reason I gave the Fantom a 9 is simply because the user has to "read the Workshop downloads" found on Roland's Web site to really appreciate the instrument's worth. Really . . . I should have given it a 10 anyway because it is a machine and it can only do what you tell it to do and to do that you have to learn its language. It's not hard . . . it just takes a little time.
Support:
I have dealt with the Roland guys in the past. Great folks! So far I have had no need to consult with them about the Fantom.
Overall:
The Fantom will challenge both my technical and theoretical skills for some time to come. Because of its broad spectrum of versatility, I can not imagine this workstation failing in anyway to meet my musical needs.
