    "Nothing else comes close."

    Feature:
Out of the box it's awesome. Enough to keep a bigger happy for months and a pro happy for weeks, then up-grade it with the TDW-1 expansion board for even more sounds.

    Quality:
Robust as, although handle with care when on the road. Like anything electronic - keep it away from damp, dust, dog hair.

    Value:
Could be a little cheaper. I am sure Roland have got their return on R&D investment. Why not drop the price a little more!

    Desirability:
It's all-round brilliant. Maybe some hot metalic colours or pearlencent (that paint that changes colour depending on the angle you look at it), would add even more asthetic appeal.

    Sound:
Incredible feedback and dynamics. Played accustic for years and very impressed by the TD-10's realism. When you're ready up-grade to the TDW-1 - worth the investment. Use a good keyboard amp (good bass and mid-range sound) or Bass amp, the Roland amp is a little price excessive.

    Overall:
As long as Roland keep innovating with their expansion modules and keep making the replacement mesh, I'II keep this till I wear it out.

"A delight to play this kit!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
My only beef is the lack of a quality snare stand. For this price I expected it to be included.

    Quality:
The finish and appearance are top notch. As far as durability, time will tell.

    Value:
Price is high but reasonable considering the great sound and flexibility.

    Sound:
Owned plenty of kits over 30+ yesars of playing, and this is one sweet piece. Flexibility and variety of sounds is astounding. The V-Cymbals play and sound amazingly real. Great dynamics and feel.

    Overall:
This is a keeper along with my Tama kit.

Roland V-Session Drum Set with Stand Customer Review

    Sound:
All in all, this is a great purchase for serious drummers. While my acoustic set collected dust and cobwebs, my V-Drums became the center piece of my playing. Quite simply, they make drumming fun, almost like learning to play again. The range of sounds keeps you entertained for hours, and some settings even allow you to cheat, making you sound better than you could on an acoustic set. However, despite it's upsides, there are a couple problems. The bass pedal does not have the rebound that an acoustic one does, so you can't get the same amount of speed from your pedeal. ALso, sometimes there are dead spots on the skins, so some notes just don't sound, and this can really hurt your performance. This is kind of infrequent, but noticeable. All in all it's a good investment
