"Still the best"

Quality:
I'm sure, like any product, there are good batches and bad. I've had a set of the RotoSounds on my practice bass for about fifteen years. Yes, you read right. Fifteen years of use, and they still stay in tune and have decent sound. Obviously that's abnormal, but I think it speaks well of the overall quality of the product.

Value:
I think they are a top of the line product that is competetively priced.

Desirability:
Sex appeal? Bass strings? I wish!

Sound:
Everyone says it, but "punch" is the best description for the sound of these strings. Bright attack with good resonant sustain.
